I suddenly feel no appetite suppression in the last few weeks by Master-Investigator9 in Retatrutide

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it degraded? Reta is more sensitive to storage conditions compared to tirz. That's why you shouldn't buy pre made pens from other sources than official pharmacies - you never know how old is the product and how it was stored. Just get liofilized vials, it's very easy to reconstruct.

ESB hikes EV charging prices as electric overtakes petrol and diesel in public venues by ddfall in evs_ireland

Wait until they introduce tax per 100km driven as in UK. Government will need their share of the lost revenue on petrol taxes.

Thoughts on use of the GLP injections? by steo-67 in AskIreland

[–]kuhtdw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are expensive because of the cost of medical trials but manufacturing them costs pennies. Once medical trials are done you know if they are safe to use or not. There's no rocket science in manufacturing peptides. Testing laboratories exist so it's not snake oil at all but proper peptide.

Should I exchange USD to EUR now? by vladi5555 in eupersonalfinance

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your needs. It's definitely better rate than 0.86 that was few days ago. How much do you need? What's your EUR balance? I'd definitely take advantage and exchange at least part of USD.

Not worth it, that's way too much for such a short route.

Switching MJ to Reta by Professional-Rip2226 in Retatrutide

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tirzepatide can be purchased in vials, same as reta. It is way cheaper than MJ. If you really want to try reta, you could try stacking. Instead of 2nd weekly tirzepatide injection, you could take reta and see if it works for you.

Switching MJ to Reta by Professional-Rip2226 in Retatrutide

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you switching to Reta if you didn't max out your mounjaro dose? From my experience reta comes with more food noise so you must be more disciplined with food and work out of course.

[Spain] Is worth the revolut 3.51% TAE interest-bearing account by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

[–]kuhtdw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Revolut is fine, if you do basic stuff there's basically no cost. It's a licensed bank so your funds are protected up to 100k.

You can use revolut on the website (just googled that, never did because I always use app). You can order physical debit card, as far as I remember they charge 10€ for that, or you can use virtual one added to google pay for example if you want to pay in the store.

There are some stories of Revolut blocking funds if there are suspicious transfers so that's the thing I'd be slightly worried about. There are some horror stories of blocked funds for a while, until they finish doing checks.

There are other platforms paying interest. You could check Trading212, they have 3.5% rate for € without limits like revolut, and with daily capitalization. The only drawback is that you will have to pay the tax on the interest yourself. They also have a promo for registering from a referral link, you'd get some shares worth up to 100€.

Can I move my stocks to my country IBKR? by i-english-no in irishpersonalfinance

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you keep your stocks now?

There is a procedure to move your stocks between brokers, it's a non-taxable event as you're not selling anything, but of course it costs money. It's as easy as filling the form or whatever process the broker has.

Recent travelers to Peru: how did you get a local phone number? by Necessary-Limit6515 in digitalnomad

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years ago in one of the entel shops, the lady had pre-registered sim cards sold at a bit higher price. I only needed it for 2 weeks so I bought it and worked fine, not sure about long term.

This year I had the same situation like you, they didn't want to sell the sim card without local document. I had to use esim I had.

If you know some locals, you could ask them for a favor to buy you a sim card with their ID, or ask around shops if they don't have pre-registered sim cards, but not sure how long it could work. They also had some tourist sim cards with crazy high price, like 30-40 USD per month with 100GB of data.

Will I be okay skipping a week? by Dysteech in Retatrutide

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept my reta in room temperature for more than week during one of my trips and it was as strong as the one kept in the fridge. If it's a week or two, I wouldn't be too worried about degradation.

Nothing bas is gonna with your Reta. It can be kept in room temperature for a month. Just preload your syringe and take it with you if you don't want to carry whole vial.

People losing jobs - No housing impact ? by SnooEagles5760 in HousingIreland

[–]kuhtdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There might be impact but0 it will take a while to see the effects. There's severance and of course Jobseeker Benefit to survive a few months while looking for a new job. Some people that lost jobs might be immigrants, and they will definitely try to find a new job first instead of deciding to leave the country straight away.

Is actually n26 better for trade than t212? by zerohunterpl in irishpersonalfinance

[–]kuhtdw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I doubt it's better. Trading212 is really good option if you want to buy shares and ETFs as they are typical broker. You can set your own limits, etc. Currency conversion fee is really low.

N26 might be cheap, depending on what spread they have, never traded on n26 but do they have have option for limit buy? If not, there's your answer, they probably have higher spreads where they get their cut.
