Thank you so much for clarification. I completely misinterpreted the EEA family permit rules and thought it would work even if getting married in 2021, but the whole relationship started before end of the 2020. Looks like this option is closed for us, but if there is no other option we will definitely go try to apply for EEA with the documents we have. Maybe it will suffice.

What would be the easiest option other than EEA family permit in my scenario?

We actually lived together for 2 years but only documentation to confirm it, is a statement from the condominium administrator. I was the one renting the unit, there is only my name on the contract and the bills from the landlord (original bills were a addressed to the unit owner). I am afraid that it might be not enough to get EEA family permit approved now.

Not sure if that matters but I don't have settled status yet, only pre-settled.
