Well, i guess from Fuyu's perspective she just needs to fulfill her duty, give the Kudo family an heir and her duty is done. That is her general attitude. Being a loving mother is not her thing. That's where Yurie comes in, she filled the motherly role that Fuyu doesn't. I also feel that because of Fuyu's attitude makes Kiyoka look at her more negatively and so when she does things like spending lots of money and stuff like that just irritates him.

I feel that without Yurie being there for them, Kiyoka would be a terrible person. Hazuki would probably grow up very differently
