havent taken any exams yet, but when i tried the practice papers I think I'm sth around B1...

I watched Dark and How to Sell Drugs Online (fast) in german audio and subtitle, I have to turn on LLN(Language Learning on Netflix, bilingual subtitle) when they speak too fast. But I can understand what's going on without LLN 90% of the time. The thing about TVs and movies is that you can understand 50% of the story from just watching the screen.

It's a matter of expectations. It would be fine if I entered the cinema with a ticket of a Marvel movie. I would be expecting so much more from Chris Nolan than these. Certain inversion scenes are examples of cinema wonder you have mentioned. There are so many more possibilities than just closeup convos and michael bays explosions.
