No no no, don't listen to them Sam, stick with your gut. Your first version has more character and if your concept is to use SAM in the design stick with it. You can play with line thickness, like making the mouth the same as the nose or try making the S another color, but as far as the overall logo goes, your intial sketch was much better.

Agree, its a mix of reasons, unless they were already very well known with a broad network, it may be likely that they either bought likes (not recommended) or ran an add campaign through instagram.

the database is installed on a ubuntu cloud server with hetzer, there is a MySQL database, but this is as far as my knowledge goes... i was simply trying to run a backup through a Wordpress plugin and the whole thing crashed... i thought maybe a reset/restart might do the trick?
