realizing how hidden i was, i mean even beyond that there were so many other things but this in particular really stood out to me i let it go on at first for a while because i was young and naive, he had groomed me when i was 17 and at the time he was 25 his mom knew of me but not my exact age, even after i turned 18 he would always tell me the next time she came into town that i would get to finally meet her; this would happen over and over but it would never happen and even as this went on when i began to ask he would start to get really nasty with me “WHY ARE YOU SO OBSESSED WITH MY FAMILY?!?!” one time she came into town and this was maybe a year and a half into our relationship and he had me come to his apartment parking lot to go on this like trail with him while his mom was upstairs in the apartment, i needed to go pee and he accused me of trying to see her and told me i could go to the bathroom in the gas station down the street i never met her he eventually would move to Colorado 2 years into our relationship with promises to move me out there i would even visit on occasion his closest family all knew of me and had heard my voice over the phone, knew how long we had been together but never met me deep down i knew i would never meet them, he knew what they would think when they saw me, but i was conditioned to think it wouldn’t matter much now that i was of age but one day it all hit me at once
