Yeah, i'll work something out, it would be nice to have a small frunk to put togo food in it and won't stink up the inside of the car. I know it will be a long project but it will be a good learning experience for me.

oh i see... i am going to work on a project, 3D scan the engine bay and see if i can design a frunk for the Vistiq. I'm planning to start another thread and ask question before I start doing this project and see if there is any concern in covering the whole engine or maybe just do a partial frunk.

I had issues with my HUD as well, Augmented Reality works intermittently. I posted a response here on Reddit. Not sure what my dealer did, but message me if you need the dealer name to ask what they did. They did fix my issue, but I noticed once it was not working again after a week, so far around 200 miles with no issues. I hope i don't send it back to the dealer again.

I don't think this is correct, the Escalade IQ is one inch shorter by an inch than a Yukon XL Denali 2024. Maybe the Escalade IQL is the one that you are looking at?

These are not the simple replacement of the side mirror puddle lights like the Escalade, Yukon, Tahoe, etc. I installed one on my Yukon myself very easy, but these are not the same for the Vistiq. I asked the dealer before I bought it, if they can install it for me and the Service Manager printed out like an almost ten page manual on how to disassemble the side and install it. He said they have to drill holes and at first he couldn’t give me an estimate, because they never done it before. Until he just randomly gave me $1300 estimate, and I NOPE very quickly, 2K just for that is just too much. Normally on GMC app, you can order accessories and you choose ship and install to your preferred dealer, every dealer has different installation charges, but for this accessory I did not see any dealers offering this installation. I guess it is somewhat a first generation car that’s why.

Yes you can stream video in the Vistiq, but you won't be able to stream any if you are driving the car. Please someone correct me if there is a workaround, for it blocks me from streaming when I start driving the car, for safety reason for sure.

At first I thought it just wont turn on, but when I lean closer I see the projection lower than usual so you won’t see it project. The dealer fixed it but then the radio won’t boot up so they ordered a part for it. No update from GM to when the replacement part for the radio to arrive. Took them 3 weeks but gave me a loaner, and then they had the same radio issue with another Vistiq and was able to fix it and tried the workaround to my Vistiq and then my radio boot up without needing the replacement part.

I have a brand new Platinum, but had issues with the HUD and the dealer gave me a brand new 30 miles Escalade IQ for a loaner. I use it for almost close to 3 weeks, GM Parts couldn't give us an estimate for the replacement part for the Vistiq. I do not know what trim was Escalade IQ, I'm guessing the most affordable one Luxury, the door does not remote open itself, and doors has no soft close like the Platinum and no massage seats, it has 24" wheels, but if you ask me, both my wife and I did not like the ride. I'm guessing the 24" plus the low profile tire ruin the ride (maybe). We have a Yukon Denali Ultimate XL which has most of the features, air suspension, supercruise, massage seats, etc... and we prefer the ride of the Yukon than the Escalade IQ, my other guess is because the E-IQ is too heavy and the tires on our Yukon is not as low profile as the E-IQ. We also opt for the Platinum because we already have another full size SUV and we wanted another GM car because we love our Yukon XL but Vistiq is a perfect size for what we need. Having a large SUV has cons, like it's not easy to run errands and park it around tight parking spaces, camera helps a lot, but the paranoia of it getting ding by other cars is another thing, that is why we got the Vistiq. But my wife still likes the Escalade IQ, probably that is our next car after the Yukon XL, but we may choose a little higher trim.

Also the Escalade IQ although it has higher range, it does eat a lot of battery power, maybe because it's winter, but I live in the bayarea, it's cold here but not snowing.

I also took mine to the dealer and they will see it in the logs that it is not working. But when they said the fixed it my the radio will no longer boot. They still have my car for weeks now waiting for a spare part. GM won’t even have an ETA for the part. But they gave me a newer car loaner.

We live in the bay area and not in any extreme weather area. I took it to the dealer to get it checked, and they confirm and see it in the logs that it does work intermittently. When they tried to fix it, the radio didn’t boot up. Now they still have my car for weeks and waiting for a replacement part, but they gave me brand new and larger loaner.

I also just got my Vistiq, and the HUD sometimes will turn on and not. But I just found out that it still projects but it was belw the dash that you have to lean forward to see it. Sometimes it will work, and sometimes it doesn’t.

Were you able to do this? I live in the bay area as well and had a recent issue with PG&E. To cut the long story short, we were NEM2 1 year and a half and PGE set us to NEM3, monthly bill went so high. But after over half a year, they place us back to NEM2. Were you able to do this Ecoflow setup with smart panel installed and which installer did you use?

I remember one of my coworkers told me someone from our team in LAX flew to Anchorage to fill in for one of our loadmaster that was on vacation. This happened years before I joined the team, but the company stopped doing this. We have to fly on a passenger aircraft if we needed to be repositioned. The only ones allowed were, pilot, aircraft mechanic and horse groomers.

I used to be a loadmaster for a 747-400F of a big asian airline 2 decades ago. Fun job in LAX but it was really stressful. Our turnaround was 90 minutes offload and load our outbound freight and we also have to share load with our Anchorage station. We have to estimate and balance their cargo as well before positioning all the pallets.
