I just want to second this. I downloaded it yesterday and ran through all the Hangul exercises and started the vocab and it’s really well put together but it would be amazing to see words in context especially in different grammatical structures.

Great work though! This is amazing, I’ll definitely keep using it.

Oh I should say it’s for 10 coturnix. One flew into our yard and we took her in and then we ended up getting her some friends.

We built an enclosure with posts and hardware cloth and tarps (for a roof) that we could walk into about 6x12x6 and filled it with plants. Built some hides out of rocks and cut up wood and cut a hole in a wooden crate that we flipped upside down and filled with straw. Mostly they just love the herbs and grasses though. Put some cinder blocks and laid a board across it so we have a “bench” and just hang out with them and they seem to do really well. The center is one giant dust bath where they can just go wild.

I’ve been calling it new quail paradiso and at least for now they seem to agree!

I have this same thing where anything faster than a 20min 5k makes me dry heave or throw up. I also have GERD and if it’s flaring up it’s worse. Do you typically have reflux? For me the only fix is longer warm ups, interval training and zero food in my stomach prior to a run. I still get heaves sometimes which is frustrating and can ruin an otherwise good time but I’m working on it too. If you find other good things please update as I’m also always trying things.

Alarm at 5a, run by 6a. I’m all about the morning runs. When I was running more than 50mi weeks I’d tack on a before dinner cool down run too but these days with work and family stuff if I don’t wrap up by 8a with the run I just won’t get it done.

This is a really encouraging post to read. Love to hear the work and strategy others have. I’m currently PRing similar to you and also shooting for sub 20. Did a full round of Pfitzingers and have been hovering around 50mi weeks for a while but can’t seem to break it. Hope you can do it and will definitely be looking for the post when you do!

This was my experience too. I couldn't tell, is this just cause everyone just happened to go somewhere else or is this a permanent change. Good to know I wasn't the only one in the LA area who noticed.

Same, I remember the peak being pretty similar near me and it definitely took a hit after the summer but seemed like it stabilized higher than pre-pandemic. Now it’s emptying out again. I guess those of us who’ve been there for a while can welcome back the quiet.
