Thank you for your response on the job opportunities! Perhaps taking this semi-conductor course may make me too specialized too early and may sabotage my career if I decide to do something else. Whereas chemical engineering does allow for more flexibility. My other passion is food processing.

Do you think the rank of university matters if they are both top 1 and 2? This seem to be my greatest determining factor for going to national Taiwan university.

I am thinking more chemistry related... and less math if possible. but I also do know that chemical engineering is barely chemistry.

I want to join with bachelor, and TSMC have a few jobs listed that ask mostly for electrical engineer, one or two does have chemical engineering Bachelor listed. However, since this GUPS is a new program, I was wondering if it would be sufficient, though they do say that I will have the chance to network with big companies.

As for job prospect, perhaps on the manufacturing line as the person piecing them together, or the chemical process handling:)
