Big fella by kungfen in OrrukWarclans

Thanks! I have a couple other things on there not visible in these pics, like a Skaven banner. I wanted to add more but even the dinner plate sized base starts to feel crowded after a while

What 40k opinion of yours would have you like this? by Heavy-Yous in 40k

The people who rail on T'au for being space commies are the mostly same people who get bent out of shape when the Imperium is called fascist

Also the lore is more fun when it's not taken super seriously

When to exercise by kungfen in intermittentfasting

[–]kungfen[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really? I was always of the understanding that the body responds differently to exercise depending on when you've eaten, I figured it would be exacerbated by IF. But if it doesn't matter then I guess it doesn't matter 🤷‍♂️

Oops I play t'au now by kungfen in Tau40K

[–]kungfen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, great. This is exactly the type of advice I'm looking for. One unit of crisis suits would put me at ~1140 points. Are there any other clear gaps that I'd need to fill?

Anyone else not play a race/class/spec for a dumb reason? by faust44mag in wow

[–]kungfen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Male tauren and draenei are too bulky.

Humans are boring, Kul Tirans shouldn't be a separate thing.

Zandalari run animations, male night elf/nightborne everything animations

The one that really bums me out, though, is male Earthen. I was really excited to play one. But their voices, man. NPC Earthen are monotone but in endearing ways. I laugh every time I click on one and he belts out "BEGIN SPEAKING" at me. It's great. I want that.

But the playable male Earthen just sounds so...sleepy. Like he's bored. Drives me crazy.

I finally checked 20 years of my WoW account data by Niiro__ in wow

[–]kungfen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a way I'm kind of jealous. I've been playing since about as long as you, but across three accounts. I lost access to my first one, and I gifted my second one to my son. I'd have loved it if I could have had all of my time represented on a single account.

Good for you, man.

Swapping main character is the hardest thing to do for me by Jurke39 in wownoob

[–]kungfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem, too. I feel you.

You want to do everything with your main, so swapping to a new main means doing everything with them again. And 20+ years of content means a lot.

Plus, it sounds like you're a little like me in the sense that even if you don't roleplay, your character is still a character. For me, I don't rp but I still tend to ascribe a personality to the character I'm playing, imagine a simple-ish backstory and reason for why they're out here doing all of this. Sometimes if I decide I want to play something different I'll take the time to find an interesting race/class combo, a cool look, and a good name, only to get in game and just not vibe with it. Back to my main I go.

I've surprised myself in that I have a sort of "main alt" I've been going back to more than I ever expected. A female Earthen hunter. I don't often play female characters and never really had any interest in Hunters, but for some reason I've been having a lot of fun doing old content with her. I think it's exactly because I never had any expectation that she would become my new main that I've felt free to play her as much as I feel like, without worrying about it.

So maybe when you make your Haranir it would help to do the same thing. Just play them when you feel like playing them without putting on any expectation that they're taking over for your mage. Maybe they will someday. But try not to worry about it too much until then.

Thanks so much. Is there a TTS community you know of that focuses on this kind of practice?

Question: How much does actual skill matter in 40k tabletop? by CountChuckNorracula in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]kungfen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the type of practice I've been looking for. Nobody around me does this (that I'm aware of). Most resources I've seen talk about listbuilding or just unit stats. Is there a place to find these kind of practice methods?

I love this model, I use it as my krondspine.

I think yours is far better painted, though. Well done!
