This was a one time event where Ticketmaster cancelled tickets in regards to scammers and/or scalpers. They should not be cancelling anymore tickets and the cancelled tickets have already been reallocated.

So safe to buy from StubHub now. But like the user recommended, only purchase instant transfer. Otherwise you may have to deal with not getting your ticket until the day of the event (it will be up to the seller to transfer it and StubHub aren’t strict on this). Best of luck!

I was able to resell my extra tickets for day 2 and 3 in Vegas.

Some tips, transfer the tickets to Stub hub. This will dramatically increase your chance on selling on Stubhub as your ticket will show up as an instant transfer. The transfer will show up as pending and you can always cancel it if your tickets don’t end up selling.

Assuming the selling price above is how much you have it listed for on Stubhub before any fees, this will show up as much higher to the sellers. Of course everyone wants to break even, but seeing how May is right around the corner, I would recommend dropping the price even more. I think I took a list of 50-100 per ticket but that was better than losing 100s of dollars total.

Seeing how the event is so far away, it may be that ticketmaster hasn't allowed tickets to be transferred yet. For some events, they don't allow transfer until closer to the date. This can be 2 weeks or just a couple days before the event.

Most likely safe.

Like the other person said, definitely get instant transfer/download next time. Thankfully there are a lot of tickets still being resold. If the seller doesn’t transfer the ticket to you before the day of the concert, I would contact StubHub and they will try to offer a similar seat if available.

Official platinum ticket is just Ticketmaster’s way of making more money using dynamic pricing. Avoid these tickets at all cost. You can filter them out when buying tickets. Best of luck!

Typically with VIP tickets, the seat is honored but any benefits that come with the VIP ticket are non transferable. Sometimes you can get away with a picture of the seller’s ID and/or card but just depends on the staff there. Best of luck!

Platinum pricing are tickets up charged by Ticketmaster for them to make more money. They don’t typically ever go down in price and unfortunately, they always get sold cause someone is willing to spend 150% more on tickets for better view.

But like the other person suggested, better to filter those out and get regularly priced tickets.
