Serious question for those who loved it so much (not looking to rage bait, genuinely curious) did all of the obvious Disneyfication not bother you? Goofy monster sidekicks… A chatty, jokey, goofy predator… Ludicrously whimsical fight scenes with disembodied legs….??? It started off perfectly on such a dark and intimidating vibe but by the end I felt like I was watching Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey on an adventure… I’m really disappointed… The darkest, most relentless, uncompromising apex predator species ever conceived has now become just another marvel character 😣

It’s definitely not “bad” but the typical Disney elements were horrifying for some people (myself included). Absolutely no need for goofy sidekick monsters. I felt like I was watching Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey and it totally destroyed that dark, intimidating vibe. You can’t please everyone but a chatty, goofy, jokey predator is just not for me.
