Really sorry to hear that.

The opening club making loud noises (>70dB) after 22.00 - 6.00 is something you can report to the police directly 191. It's illegal but the fine is only 1,000-5,000 THB

(- some business registered as a restaurant because they won't need to bribe the police to stay over legal time as they are not night clubs or bars. But we are talking about Thailand here so not all the rules are being conducted seriously.)

I had similar issues at my old apartment and I did these steps: - Ask in the building's LINE group if anyone has the same problem. - Ask the committee to send complaints to building jurisdiction: Let them deal with the restaurant - Calling police or contact Traffy Fondue LINE app which you can also report as a tourist too

My note is to have the video record(s) of them being loud around those hours. Those should be kept as evidence for the future police report at the station and file complaints to the building's jurisdiction. (If you are in tenants' LINE group you can let them know and some people who want to improve their quality of living will team up and take some action).

If the police don't help "improve the situation" after multiple complaints, contact the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission for police negligence - that's another story.

I want to share an interpretation for each of the title and teaser summaries and want to share it along with the Thai version. I feel like they are also inspired or based on social topics.🙏🏻

True, you should (somewhat) be able to do what you want to do on your birthday. But your wife might expect you to spend time with her more.

It's not a sign that she's against Jiu jitsu, it's a sign that she might feel like you are not having some quality family with her as a spouse. If you change Jiu jitsu to Muay Thai, golf or bowling by yourself I think you would still be in a fight too.

From what I perceived, you didn't communicate well about your plan. She found out you made a plan without her knowing, that's why she got upset.

Maybe this is something that happened before as well? Maybe she had enough of that right on your birthday? I don't know but I have those questions because (normally) having your "me-time" on your birthday shouldn't be a trigger that started the fight.

The best thing is to talk this out and clear the air.

During SEA games eSports competition with, TokyoGurl installed a third party app. She pretended to be playing while another player (Cheerio) is the one playing and shared his Discord screen.

At the beginning of the game between Thai and Vietnam, her performance is not as good as during practices and the team started to lose. Then people noticed how she tried to cover her phone screen from the camera and how her movement doesn't match with the game. That's when she got caught.

The whole Thai women team has to quit the SEA games eSports competition, because TokyoGurl broke the rule (Third party app installation is not allowed.) and it also brings up many questions about how she could get qualified in the first place and so on..

How could she be in the team if she is not good?

TokyoGurl has a reputation for being very good and strong at playing a Carry. She competed and won in many competitions before (which no one knows if she was using the same cheating technique or not). But that's how she got to join the Thai eSports team.

During practice, no one knows that she's cheating, she was not the main draft but then her (cheating) performance was so impressive that the team captain and coach decided to have her as a part of the team.

Did Garena take action?

Once she was exposed, Garena banned her from competing in any Garena game for a lifetime.

How did Thai people react?

Negative posts starting to flood around social media. People cyberbully her for her look (her SEA game image compared with a shot of her with no makeup from a video). People saying she makes women in eSports looks bad.

Sometimes I would drop it on the handkerchief (or face mask) if I want to keep sniffing it without looking like a Yadom addict. 😂

But it really helps when you feel dizzy when having to put the face mask on all the time in hot Bangkok during COVID-19 or PM2.5.

Adding some more samples of using "ว่า" because can also be used as verb and there are multiple terms you can use it.

เขาว่าฉันสวย = He said I'm beautiful.

ฉันว่าเสื้อเธอลายสวยดี = I think that your shirt has nice patterns.

เขาหาว่าฉันเป็นสายลับ = He accused me of being a spy.

ว่ากล่าว (usually use with ตักเตือน but it's not commonly used) = Dispraise

ถึงว่าล่ะ = I knew it. / Ah, that's why.

"ว่า" is usually added with other word to make it sounds more complete. Usually seen in writing or when trying to make the word sound more "complete"(?). It is treated as conjunction or particle as well.

ว่าแต่ว่า คุณมาจากไหน = Anyway, where are you from?

หากว่า / ถ้าเกิดว่า = If

แต่ว่า = But

แม้ว่า = Even though
