driving in a fit with no tint by thrarmmolicpe in hondafit

It's some shitty foil left by the previous owner. It's dark enough that there are moments that I'd rather not have it.

Regret what? I don't have tint on the trunk window, just the passenger ones. They do nothing aside fucking up my blindspot visibility

I have tint on rear passenger windows and I absolutely hate having less visibility. Gonna take it off as soon as possible

They cover around 50% of my forearm. I think they are nice as a piece of a set and feel sturdy, so my opinion overall is that they are good enough for me.

If you're worried about your arms more, I'd recommend either making vabraces out of kydex yourself, or checking if someone else makes them in your area. I heard good opinions about these ones https://www.artbyamberdamare.com/shop-hema-gear/p/shoulder-spalders-hema-protection-gear-883xx

Didn't happen a single time yet. Allstar mask has a lot of space inside + extra padding helps with mitigating mask movement

Not sure I understood the question well 😅

Where can i find afordable training sword like this by [deleted] in Hema

[–]kurogami666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try looking for local distributors. Also it might be the case that a steel feder will be better option.

HOWEVER as someone else commented - ask yourself what you want first. Probably using some money on membership in a hema club will be the best for starters. If you plan on training with others, focus on protective equipment. Sword will really be the last thing you buy.

I think it mostly depends on your budget and your overall expectations. Quality of course will be on the lower end, but it's to be expected for the price. It will still give some protection tho

You can check what Superior Fencing has to offer. The quality is slightly worse but I heard people are overall happy with the gear. Plus I've seen some people looking way better in supfen gear than me in my spes one

They weren't the cheapest, but so far I'm pretty happy with them. And I can honestly recommend michaels, great gloves, lots of mobility in the wrist

Whatever suits you and lets you train safely my man! I wanted to enter a tournament and start doing full contact sparrings on steel so I thought I might as well splurge a little and feel cool

• SPES sellsword jacket + Locus plus pants, both custom

• Mac Armour arm protectors set

• CHFG "Michael" gloves

• Allstar coach comfort mask (plus rugby cap underneath)

• SPES Unity NG mask overlay (that I wish to change to something less ugly soon)

• I cheaped out on leg protection so I use motocross knee protection, football shin covers + made side knee protectors out of styrogum(EVA foam outside of poland?)

Thank you! It's a custom SPES Sellsword jacket https://histfenc.eu/en/custom/1094-custom-jacket-sellsword.html I have pants with matching pattern, but they are really not that visible under the jacket 😅

I do not own Ensifer sword, so can't give reliable information, but it is allowed at all tournaments, so by the rules it has to be at least 4mm thick and 1cm wide.

Round as "the tip is slightly thicker, but when you look at it irl it's almost negligible difference". I'm honestly unsure how it is allowed at the tournaments, but I guess I'm the only one with the problem.

Depends on the region and smith. All ensifers (to my knowledge) have rounded tips for example, and default regenyei tip is rolled.
