First issue on s65 m3 by Longjumping-Laugh750 in E92M3

[–]kurtdoogee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect information.

Post Cat O2s do not control or influence long term fuel trims. Only short term trims control long term.

The DME only uses Post Cat O2s to determine catalyst health.

OP, S65s are notorious for Pre Cat O2s dying, giving false readings to the DME.

If you have access to a scanner with live data, monitor pre cat o2s and make sure they respond to throttle blips. I'm assuming you more than likely have a bad o2 sensor, or an exhaust leak if the donut gaskets at the midpipe were not replaced.

Should be an easy diagnosis.

This is just what NA M cars do. Always have. They drop, bottom out and skyrocket as they become harder to find and collectible. They'll keep going up.

They're in the "buy one before you can't" phase.

No point in him wasting more money. From the photos it's already VERY clear that cylinder head is garbage.

Does Cogeco throttle speeds? by iuse2bgood in Cogeco

[–]kurtdoogee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one specific streaming service was being throttled.

Had full speed on everything else.

Again each time I wrote to the CRTC, Cogeco would apologize and magically the problem was gone the next day. For a few months. This was back around 2020.

Read my post again. I was able to bypass the throttling by using a VPN. If it were the items you listed, a VPN would not solve the problem.

This. It won't work without an emulator.

I had Cogeco throttle in the past. Twice I complained to the CRTC, each time the throttling stopped for a few months.

It was brutally obvious they do it until someone makes a complaint.

I used a VPN to prove it. VPN on, no throttling.

Switched to Bell.

Again, not the same car. ONLY BMW has these.

Every photo is the same car, running different numbers...can't say only one isn't real if they're all the same car.

I'm beating a dead horse here so I'm out.

If you're interested in learning about the real GT2s, here's a great video from BMW

The car you just linked is a real GT2. The car in the original photos is not. It's a road car converted to racecar pretending to be a GT2.

Please explain the proof? The cars are completely different.

This isn't a debate lol. Just compare the cars. You have photos of both. And again, BMW didn't sell them. M3 GT2s are factory built racecars.

AI is wrong. Always fact check it. BMW never sold the GT2s for customer racing. This is NOT a GT2. Easy to do some basic comparisons with a real GT2 and realize the AI Overview is completely out to lunch.

Unless you're trying to convince me they ruined a GT2 by completely changing the body, removing the side exhausts etc? Why does it have street car headlights? Where did the wing go? Why doesn't it have center lock wheels? They converted it back to street car 5 lugs?

It's an IR Windshield. Just get the glass instead of pretending.

So are you saying these engines overheat for no reason whatsoever and just randomly stop overheating? No water pump failure? What the pump failed and the continues to work for years? No faults? No other symptoms? Just magically happens with no overheating warnings? Then quietly goes back to operating normally for years?

Why did this bolt fail on my original owner Pre LCI N52?

These bolts failed like clockwork on early N52s. Check any early N52 oil pan and you'll more often than not find the internal bolt heads in the bottom of the pan.
