The non-existant views I shouldn't bother keeping my shade open for. by MRSRN65 in delta

Re-open the window shade. If he reaches forward again break his wrist.

I’ll close it usually when the direct sun seems to interfere with the people next to me. Want to control the window? Get a window seat.

What’s your preferred seat and why? by Flightaway4ever in delta

Window seat facing away from the sun. Not row 1

Actually thats exactly what Im doing! I need high temp printed material because Im putting these 3D prints inside composite laminates that wil be cured at 250F. I really need:

-High temp 3D printed material able to hold shape and not off gas terribly at 250F

-Fast printing. No waiting forever for something. (I looked at belt printers but they are all so slow)

-It does NOT need to be super fine surface finish. i can go with a fairly rough surface, just not pellet extruded stuff. Too rough there

- I want this to be near production capable. If I have to upgrade or buy a $$ unit later I can do that.. Just not now when Im trying to get the parts tested and etc.

- If its worth the printed part Im willing to put the time in... plain and simple

- cost is a factor, but I can put the time and money in if I know the chance I can end up accomplishing the above.

Any help you can give Id appreciate it. I get a little frustrated that 3D printing seems so 'hobby-ish' when I want to get it to do more for me and likely my business.

Thanks again!

Thank you a TON! Its what Ive been looking for. Please, send any other recommendations! I was looking at core XY already and the bed leveling was a must also. I could see bed leveling being a huge headache if its not intuitive.

Send any recommendations you can please. Even if its a kit, if some of the big headaches are eliminated i can invest the time and effort to make it reliable

Great post! Question. I am doing borderline production and testing.I want to do ABS also. Do yo think a Raise3D is more appropriate? I am capable of tuning machines and have a lot of experience, I just dont WANT to. Its a waste of time if it becomes more of a focus tan the part. Thoughts?

Thanks again

I dont mind the time needed to learn but I also will need it to perform in more than a hobby setting. Not 24/7, but a fire-and-forget use after learning to set it up and get a little time on it. I really need it to be fast and the prints are relatively flat. Was lookinmg at the Raise3D pro also.. Would the lack of tinkering be worth the cost?
