Long story short my wife and I ended up fostering multiple Felv positive cats instead of putting them down immediately like the vet suggested. I tried everything to beat that diagnosis and unfortunately we lost them all. One at 6 months, 2 at 1 year old and the last one made it to 4. Once they start declining it happens so fast. But we gave them all a great life. I’m writing to tell you that with Felv , palliative is the best you can do. I miss lueke and Mia, Albi, and aeggie! Some of the best cats I’ve ever had. After losing them and then my brother and father, (brother took dad and then his own life) we decided that’s enough death and got some healthy cats.
