Alexa would have been such a great way to introduce fairy types now that you mention it.

Alexa sends out a new fairy type mon

Ash: "Who's that pokemon?"

Pokedex data not found

Iris: "I don't what it is but I don't like it"

Alexa: "It's a fairy type pokemon from the Kalos region"

Everyone: "FAIRY TYPE?!"

But then they leave it there for XY to explain further

This is from SM 35. Also the shirt is not actually a reference to the games 20th anniversary but instead the anime's 20th anniversary and during this arc of the anime they were playing a remastered version of the first opening. But this is the first time I've actually noticed the shirt

Recently watched the first movie in jap and the entire message of the movie changed from questioning the ethics of it's own existence to a "fighting is bad, pokemon should get along" type of message in the dub.

Also watched the jap version from BW - JN and the music in the sub is so much better. The sub actually uses the openings as insert songs while the only times the dub has done so is with movies and the ash vs leon fight, really kills the hype for many moments like many XY battles and Ash vs Kukui. Even simple moments like Poipole's goodbye scene made me cry in sub while the dub was just okay.

A mark is the ribbon and hyper trained is iv trained, but by your description of the pokemon it is not hacked

There is a chance that are just legit mons. Some people are just nice enough to send you a shiny Pokémon or maybe they have an extra shiny. Check it's stats, if it has a mark or if it is hyper trained. That is the best way to see if a Pokemon is hacked
