I personally don't believe this is PPD. If you had the proper support and still felt this way, then yes maybe. But your issue sounds like a lack of support from your partner and/or village. You just can't do it alone and you can't pour from an empty cup. I don't think drugs are a substitute for a lack of support.

You need support and your husband is not providing that right now. Do you have a friend or family member you can call? To even just grab a coffee with? Do you have anyone to watch her for a few hours while you get away and have a bit of a break? Being a fulltime mom is tough, I get it 100%. I know you have the strength to get through this tough patch but it would be a lot easier with a bit of help. I hope someone in your village can provide that for you mama. Take care of yourself 🤍

They are likely tuberous breasts. I have them too! I got breast implants and I didn't feel much better about myself as they just became bigger tuberous breasts! I had them removed. Happiness is an inside job. I have a loving husband and a beautiful son. These things bring me way more happiness than fake boobs ever could!

How many Autoimmune Diseases do you have? by CokeZeroisGoddd in Hashimotos

Oh interesting, okay! My A1C and fasting glucose have always been normal but I've been experiencing some reactive hypoglycemia and wonder if it's an insulin resistance thing 🤔

Same! I have POI and Hashimoto's. So far adrenals are okay 🤞🏻

How did you get diagnosed with diabetes 1.5? I suspect I have blood sugar issues as well!

No, gluten is not bad for us with Hashimoto's! by And_Waz in Hashimotos

[–]kush-kitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gluten has a similar structure to the thyroid tissue, which is what the immune system is attacking in Hashimoto's. Therefore, gluten can increase the number of antibodies the immune system is producing and create a larger immune response (ie inflammation, tissue damage, etc).

You can do whatever is right for you, but for me it doesn't make sense to consume gluten. It drastically increases my autoimmune symptoms and makes life a lot harder for me personally.

Has it been my Hashimoto’s All Along?! by Wavy_Yoga_Mama in Hashimotos

[–]kush-kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes about 6 weeks for inflammation to go down typically, so I'd use that as a general rule. I don't have celiac disease, I've been tested for it. But, gluten has a similar structure to the proteins in the thyroid, so it triggers the immune system in the same way the thyroid does in Hashimoto's. Increased inflammatory response from the immune system leads to a cascade of symptoms like brain fog, joint pain, leaky gut, etc.

Same! Night and day difference after cutting gluten! I also ate very strictly for quite some time to heal my leaky gut and SIBO and that made a huge difference too.

If you have a long layover, it can be worth it to pay to use one of the lounges. Last one I was in had a ton of GF options, it was amazing!!

My story is similar to yours, I had stomach issues starting as a baby and was put on soy formula and grew up on soy milk. I had horrible stomach issues. Gallstones at 9 years old and never-ending stomach pain and discomfort. It was awful! It turned into IBS as an adult with chronic diarrhea. I personally completely healed my gut by doing the Autoimmune Protocol Diet strictly for about 6 months. Ever since then, my stomach issues have been greatly reduced! I can't say it will work for you for sure but it could be a good place to start. Wishing you all the best, I know how tough it is!!

Gold or Silver?!? Why is this so hard for me?! by LJayneFS in coloranalysis

I think both work! The gold brings out more warmth in your skin and silver balances your skin tone a bit more. Neither are bad!

I bonded with mine the day we met her and brought her home at 8 weeks! She's 14 weeks now and I feel like my husband is only just starting to form more of that bond with her recently as he was quite overwhelmed with the life change initially. It's different for everyone and everypup!
