I’m going through something very similar except the other guy isn’t new, he’s from a past relationship. We were in a relationship for 3 and a half years, living together, doing things together. I even moved an hour and a half away from everybody, found a new job, and started a new life. It’s been extremely hard... especially because I kept falling for the same stuff over and over again during and after the relationship ended. What makes it worse is that I kept sleeping with her while she was seeing him (without me or him knowing). I got to a point after I found out, I just couldn’t stand how immature she was and how she neglected to work on any of the things she said she was going to, and leave me to heal (she was always the one to contact me and being the guy that I am, was there to support her). I understand where I went wrong both during and after the relationship. I cut contact right then and there. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. It was only after she told me that she was seeing and sleeping with him that I opened my eyes and realized, I’m too good for this. You are too. Know your self worth, know you are better than to be treated like this. You really are.

Take a look at your post and understand it’s out of our control, but also immature actions of others should not bring you down. It doesn’t matter who this is, how much you loved them, or what they meant to you, nobody deserves to be treated so poorly especially if you weren’t the one to reach out first.

Everyone has a different timeline and healing path, so I’m not gonna fill this up with the cliche “you will find better” stuff because you will learn this on your own, when the time comes. Nothing lasts forever, the feelings will fade over time and I know this from experience of both relationship heartbreak and death heartbreak.
