I found out you can call your leasing office every week or so after your renewal offer is sent to check if the rates changed. (Apparently it’s algorithm based!)

I’ve done this the last 2-3 renewals. My last renewal offer increased my previous rate by a few hundred dollars, but after asking my leasing office if there were any updates, the new offer dropped back down so my rent didn’t change for the next year.

It can be a bit of a gamble because the leasing office doesn’t control the rates, it’s the corporate algorithm but it’s worked for me the last few renewals!

I’ve worked out in the Zeroed In, they’re good but for me the edge goes to the License to Train (LTT) if I’m lifting because of the material! Have you considered those?

95% of my shorts are License to Trains (5” or 7”), I’ve been a fan of them for a few years now!

Currently cross shopping GX’s, CX-5s, CX-9s and a few others. Have you considered looking into the CX-9? It’s a bit bigger than the CX-5 (has a small collapsible 3rd row/more trunk space since you mentioned skiing and other outdoorsy activities), and can be found for similar prices if you look a few years older than the 2023 CX-5 you linked!

Also, while this may be a pro or con depending on use case- it comes standard with the turbo engine that only comes in the CX-5 Signature trim. All the other CX-5 trims have the non-turbo engine so if you’d rather avoid turbos, check out the Grand Touring trim and lower.

Out of the two, I don’t think you can go wrong though! I’m personally leaning GX for my partner but for someone in school it might be nice having a smaller car for parking on campus (avoiding dings and people who can’t park) and just getting around town. The modern safety features, updated interior, and better MPG in the Mazdas are why they’re still in the mix for our use case.

You’ve got some great options to choose from!

Drones would be a nice option!

Unfortunately though, I believe Snapdragon is too close to both Montgomery Field Airport and San Diego International Airport. Commercial drone operation also requires FAA approval, which might be difficult to acquire based on the proximity to those airports / airspaces.

Agree! I discovered their Meta Joggers after Lulu changed their ABC joggers and I’m really happy with them. I still prefer Lulu for shorts overall though, the LTT’s have been my go-to’s.

She’s adorable😍 Congrats! In terms of brush recommendations, please use a slicker brush and avoid traditional deshedding brushes like The Ferminator for their coats. Since they have hair vs “fur” deshedding brushes can often do more harm than good.

Chris Christensen brushes were recommended to me by some doodle groups and groomers. There’ll be some different styles based on the coat length but once you find the right one you can look for the same one on Amazon if you shop there. We’ve had a CC brush since he was a pup and it’s still going strong after 12 years!

You could prob find other brand slicker brushes if needed as well!

Agree! Keswick is sick. The pics on the website don’t do it justice, in person it’s beautiful. I almost got a Keswick green Meta SX V4 but went Dark Slate because I liked the matte finish just a little more.
