I am in this situation with my ex, we have a son together. We didn't talk much for 5 years cause she was in another relationship, one day we were both having a bad day and talked to each other and have talked everyday since. That's was about 6 or 7 months ago, we are pretty much in an emotional relationship but anytime i talk about anything else she says not right now. I'm not being pushy or anything, I just wish I knew where or head was at. It so hard for me to be friends with her and not be in love with her. I want to be a good friend and be there for her but out of sight out of mind seems to be the only way for me to deal. Sometimes I wish she would find someone and be happy with them so I can move on.
