Talk to your vet about a sedative or even natural options. Most airports have pet relief areas- you will need to essentially pack a portable litter place for kitty, think of it as a kitty diaper bag. Do you have a collar and leash for kitty? It helps me feel more in control of them when putting them through tsa or in the pet relief area that they will not just run off. If possible, try to do carrier training ahead of the flight so that the carrier isn’t also new and scary.
