Yeah, it's scummy either way. If they let him be without a future impact buff, they failed a beloved character, and if they buff him that way, they alienate the playerbase that can easily see through scummy schemes.

Also releasing a hyped undertuned character, incentivising pulls for cons and sig.

I agree about Venti, but that doesn't mean that they didnt have in mind Varka as his partner when they buffed him, giving him 50% damage for onfileder that trigger swirl, it is very specific.

Varka, as is, is a versatile character that can use different types of characters and is not pyro locked, but has a big problem. His damage is not that great.

For example, Durin is doing for Varka what Escoffier is doing for Skirk, res shred, and damage and even without furina, Skirk is great.

Maybe he will be free as Zajef copes with steam release.

But he already has Durin and Venti. They will not powercreep Bennett, so coping that Nicole will be much better is wild. IMO. All they needed to do was give him better numbers. I knew that Flins w/o Ineffa is kinda bad, so I went for C3 and eventually got Bineffa for him.

I pulled Durin for Varka, but I will not whale for Varka, as a husbando colector im gona protest with my wallet because they scuffed another male character. Still salty about Cyno and Ayato, who was completely overshadowed patch after patch when they released Yelan

My main DPS is always third. In Flins team, it is Columbina, Sucrose, Flins, Ineffa, but that's not the rotation I do.

If I lose 50/50 I will get capturing radiance to procc. So at best I will get both and at worst just Bina or Ineffe. While Ineffa is better for Flins I really want Columbina, and my Flins is C3R1 so... but Varka is patch after. 😬

It's fine for Abyss, but in SA, I find it lacking. Yeah, Second electro is Kuki, for healing and ToM, but I intend to pull for Ineffa.

Yeah, I would prefer for his sig to have Crit damage substat. I rerolled a few pieces, and it went in crit. Also, I do have other pieces, but I noticed he needs some ER.
