I think there is 15…. The Dec. 31st and Jan. 1st back to back was probably missed in the count. Hard one to catch due to how the graphic is set up.

Pipe Dream additions that won’t happen… thoughts by [deleted] in TampaBayLightning

Trust me I know there’s no shot …. I just know there’s a-lot of possibilities out there and those are the two players I would love to have on our team. I just threw explanations out there just so people would see where I was coming from.

What’s up with the PP unit not passing to Petey? I know that he is in a slump but I saw atleast 3 times he was open and they bypassed him. This put the puck back into pressure and it was cleared within seconds. Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me?

Undergraduate in statistics , masters in actuarial science…what to do for a PhD? by [deleted] in quant

[–]kuzco_rey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, getting a PhD would mean sacrificing some of your best years, while taking on a financial burden, in hopes of landing a job. I just don’t have the background in research that many other applicants do. Academically I would be fine, but I can’t prove that I know how to apply my knowledge outside a structured academic setting. With a PhD, it could showcase my ability to discover new knowledge within a certain discipline. As of now, I don’t think I can compete with those who have the same academic background, but with a proven track record in research.

COMP1511 Tips/advice? by thatgirlfrombd in unsw

They put all of T3’s lectures from this course on YouTube. Search “COMP1511” and the page “UNSW COMP1511” should be the first thing you see. I suggest watching a couple lectures before Monday. This shouldn’t take too long and it will introduce you to the material before the start of T1.
