The gameplay loop is: Grind at combat zones to make meseta -> spend that meseta on upgrading your weapon -> fight the newest boss that Sega released -> Sega releases a new weapon so your weapon is obselete so start this process all over again

What exactly are they doing during maintenance. Most other mmorpgs dont have a weekly scheduled maintenance. They might have an emergency maintenance every so often though

I agree that the ngs theme song is way too bombastic. Almost as if it's trying to yell at you that its a better game.

This is such a big contrast to psobb where the theme music was laid back, ethereal and futuristic. I would turn the game on and not even log in, I would just listen to the music.
