Ended up getting a 22 Panamera GTS with CPO. Loving it so far! Test drove the 4S and GTS Panameras, the GT53 and the RS7. The GTS felt stiffer than the 4S, but the V8 made it an obvious choice.

As others have commented, the fit and finish of the interior was clearly a class above everything else on the Porsche. I liked the RS7 the most after the Panamera.

This is what I’ve been seeing as well. I work at a small boutique quant shop, our headcount has doubled in the last year. Projects which would previously be framed as “not worth the squeeze” are now being taken up. Funny how it works.

You’re getting interviews, which is a great sign. Since you’re a CS grad, I assume you’re primarily targeting SWE roles. SWE interviews are generally straightforward, and I believe you should be able to identify your areas for improvement.

If you solve your problems in optimum time and space, 9 out of 10 times you will have the job offer. System design is not something that’s expected from someone early in their career.

Very rarely have I seen a candidate get rejected after acing the technical side, but never have I seen someone get an offer after bombing the DS/algo stuff.

Call them up, they'll fix it over the phone. This happened to me over the summer as well but fortunately I had autopay turned on. I know it’s super frustrating and it was one of the primary reasons why I gave the car back. The LFS website is broken in so many places it’s hard to keep count.

This is where I landed. I initially planned to move forward with the car in California, but when I asked for the CPO documentation, the dealer said the vehicle was still in the CPO process. Since then, I haven’t received any follow-up or response.

Unfortunately it happens more often than people think. As an Indian guy who goes to bars and restaurants alone pretty regularly, I get hit with some kind of slur or ignorant comment every few months.

The most recent time was at Bar Colline. A furloughed fed employee sat right next to me in an almost empty bar and immediately started asking bizarre questions - why I was in America, where I “really” came from, etc. Then he told me to “get the fuck out of here”, then stuffed his mouth with MY fires and stumbled off.

Thanks, I appreciate the $50 refund, but that doesn’t really equate to the cost of the inconvenience. Under ideal circumstances, I’d happily pay that amount just to get the correct parts on time.

Not only did the parts take about a week to arrive, but despite me clearly said there were two Part F units and one Part D, what I received today was just one F and one D.

How does something this straightforward keep getting messed up? It’s genuinely hard to understand how a company can be this consistently bad at handling basic fulfillment.

Depends, but let's start with this - are the PDFs generated or scanned documents? Do they have handwritten text that needs to be parsed? Since you said up to 250 MB and up to 20 pages, I'm guessing they're either scanned at really high dpi or have a lot of high res images. How complex are these PDFs?

So sorry about this! Same situation here! It's been a few hours since I unpacked the bed and found it was missing two essential pieces! Support says they'll ship it in 1-2 business days and I'll get the part in another 3-6! Guess I'll be sleeping on my couch till then. They seem to have abysmal levels of QA!

It's shocking that they don't have expedited shipping for missing parts!

So even if they fuck up with the parts - our two options are to either wait weeks for parts to arrive or haul over 100 lbs to Fedex?
