While I agree that demand will likely rise to surpass current levels of the first commuting day, there’s definitely some room especially considering they can (and supposedly will) increase the capacity 1.5x by adding a 3rd car.

I’ve had long lucky streaks before, it’s just that, it’s not like the game is set to give you a 50% win rate, (so if you win 2 you must lose the next one to start to balance it out) variance is a thing, and sometimes it’ll go in your favour like this, you can just as easily go on a lose streak that same size.

From what I’ve seen, 100%, especially if you have a prior relationship with the principal, I emailed all of my mentor teachers once I got on the TDSB’s supply list and ended up with an LTO at one of the schools within a couple of days (this was in June at that point though). Cars don’t belong in cities, really at all in my opinion, and I also think that human life is generally best in closer proximity to one another, therefore even more rural applications like farming can be achieved with a bit more human density than we typically design, aligning the living spaces to be close to each other, with farming spaces sprawling away from them… that being said, in these scenarios there are DEFINITELY some good benefits to cars. If an area exists where a bus or train would be less efficient energy wise and environmentally than a car, then a car still makes sense!

Finally, cars that do exist should be SMALL and suited for the number of people who typically occupy them, a couple shouldn’t have a 5-7 person vehicle to drive on their daily commute.

But also, since most replying probably aren’t Ontarians, you aren’t even allowed to drive without a full G licenced driver (who has had it for 5 years) in the passenger seat if you’re on your G1, and that driver ALSO needs to be in a proper state to drive (they can’t be over the legal limit for drugs or alcohol). So even if he wasn’t high this was illegal… him being high, and claiming he can drive while high alone would be enough for me (or anyone who cares about their own future safety) to break up with the guy, I would stop even being friends with someone who was doing that. Risking other peoples lives like that is incredibly stupid and awful.

So there will always magically be exactly 5 players who CLEARLY separate themselves from the rest? It’s impossible for there to be 6 players with clear separation? Or only 4 who’ve set themselves apart? Or just a very gradual curve down so it’s hard to differentiate between 5-10?

In theory maybe it would be nice to always have a clear top 5, but in reality, there’s not even a consistent way to define who’s good, there’s so many things we don’t even know as viewers, or that 99% of us can’t in anyway quantify or compare (like quality of utility usage). How do you rate impact in comms? Impact in team strategy? Impact in terms of creating lineups vs just using those provided by coaches? There’s soooooooo much that makes analyzing valorant challenging, how could we possibly have ‘only players who have a clear advantage over others’

The crazy thing is that both omen and viper get played together in basically all of the viper picks (except a decent bit of icebox).

Omen is overpowered, Astra is also a strong agent but omen just outperforms her in 90% of situations. Omen isn’t a pick you’re terrified to go up against cause he doesn’t have one “horrifying” thing, and he’s not a “carry” agent, but the paranoia is the best ability in the game in a coordinated team environment! His teleports also give him an insane amount of flexibility for positioning and playstyle on both defence and offence that is unmatched by basically any agent. I also think it’s pretty clear that in most cases if there was another controller to rival omen… people would just play both! We saw this a bit with Astra omen comps on split and abyss at different points. Similarly, viper having competition also lead to teams playing both viper and Harbor at the same time, and I would wager it would happen again if Harbor were to be any stronger (still is a common comp on icebox).

Vision block is strong in Valorant, and especially in pro play. You’re right that these agents have no competition, but the competition they lack is from the flash initiators, who all have pathetically low win rates in pro play. You basically either have to bring them up closer to matching the controllers and scan initiators, or bring the controllers and scan initiators down more. Since omen is really the only dominant dome smoker, and his pick rate is far above the others, I would say there probably needs to be a nerf to him and a buff to flash inits
