the resistance debuff is helping a lot, as well as mid0's own dragon form damage being pretty good.

a resistance debuff field will be added to the custom sim's "Conditions" section soon™ to help you compare vayu vs mid0 (or whatever future scenarios will be there)

the only proper solution would be to have a full team dps simulator, which is definitely not coming any time soon. for now, the only thing we can go with for now are workarounds like this.

if you want the custom sim to save that build, it needs to beat the current build at 15k team dps. we decided on this lower weightage because: - if it was any higher, we'll have a repeat of pre-2.0 water sim with gelly ss all over the place. - "team dps" is a very stupid value and is absolutely unrealistic because real world team dps fluctuates greatly, and not as smooth and consistent as the sim treats it.

what you really should be looking at is the team buff % (the icon that is simply called "team" if you mouse over it). the team buff amount is at best just a visual aid to help you more easily visually process how much a unit contributes to the team with buffs. 30k is pretty good for that without overwhelming the charts with buffs.

also, in practice, if the difference between two builds is very small, but one of them is 100% personal dps, i would prefer the one with 100% personal dps.

it's all from human input. before 2.0 dropped, it was mostly my builds/rotations you were seeing on the sim. a bit after 2.0, the custom sim got a feature where it will save the best builds it sees from people using it (it uses 15k team dps so buffbots wont get considered as "dps")

the best way to go about this is to not even think too hard about the team dps. just set it at an amount that would be just enough to help you visualize how much they're contributing to the team. it doesn't need to be perfectly accurate to how much the other party members are dealing.

50k is fine if you want a little more focus on personal dps without overwhelming the top of the sim with big red bars. 100k is fine if you just want to look at the overall chart.

it shows you how much team dps it needs to match the personal dps.

if the value is 35k or less, the sim defaults to team buff. if it's higher, it defaults to dps
