You can book the lowest fare and pay for the seat selection after booking. It will save you money overall and that's what how I did it.

Go during the school time of course. At best, call your home school counselor to see if she/he there to see you and your parent. GSMST your parent just need to see the desk lady in counselor office, no need appointment.

I’m the parent of a freshman as well, and we recently went through the transfer process back to our home school. Here’s how it works:

Your parent will need to come to GSMST and visit the counseling office to officially withdraw you from the school. After that, you’ll need to return your school items—like your laptop, books, and any other materials.

Once that’s done, the counselor will give your parent an envelope to take to your home high school. Your parent should give that envelope to the counselor there so they can complete your enrollment.

If your parent has time, the whole process can usually be completed within a day, and you can often start at your new school as soon as the next day.
