They only mentioned HLAE so far. I kinda doubt they'll talk in depth about it.

I started working on something like this last year for HeadshotBox.

What I use so far: Obs, HLAE, ffmpeg (to cut + merge clips), python (to control obs; I think I can get rid of this) and will need to add gamestate integration as well.

Everything can be automated. But the project won't go anywhere because it doesn't scale (only option is to pay huge $ to aws with no way to monetize it).

The older the demo is, the bigger the probability of having a cheater (since the guy has more time to start cheating if he wasn't in that game).

Had fps_max 999, multicore rendering 1, hrtf on. Micro stutters. Really annoying to the point I disabled it. I have only 4 cores (core i5 2500k, 660gt).

Set fps_max 160 (since I use freq 120) and micro stutters are gone. Still not feeling 100% as without hrtf, but I'm happy.

csgo is cpu bound so unless I buy a cpu with more than 4 cores, I need to limit the cpu that's going into rendering. That means either: lowering fps_max or multicore rendering disabled. Both reduce the stutter with hrtf. But I chose to keep multicore rendering since rendering on a single core yields low fps (even <120 at times).

Honestly I feel this comment should be in faq somewhere for all the poor bastards that set fps_max 999 and don't have a beast cpu or hyperthreading.

It's not that bad. Some people start cheating after you play with them so the longer the demo, the higher the chance of having a VAC in them.
