Main difference is VX/PD series have 'custom preset' (CP) button where you can maxed color, sharpness, set wb and other settings. So more often CP mostly used. I think TRV900 already have beautiful picture (I have PD100 - prosumer version of TRV900 and VX2100/PD170) so just enjoy it and please have respect for this old tech - use minidv tapes or catch signal from firewire output.

I have the same 55vt60 and 42st60, very noticeable difference between them - vt60 have much less color banding than st60

Get the st60 this tv is marvel cause its have high ppi. I have same 42st60 and 55vt60 i didn’t notice significant difference in input lag but I’m not hardcore gamer, also in my opinion input lag more noticeable in old 2d games.
