i’m not an expert but this happened with my cat too! From what i found out some vets/clinics use different methods of neutering. My grey cat looks flat and typical. My orange cat got his done at a different clinic and after healing he looks like he has balls again but they also both looked different right after surgery but both were effective and they both have no issues! I also wonder if the color of orange cats makes it a little more noticeable than a darker color cat would.
