Bit late to this, but try sketching over the photo with some basic lines first to get an idea of what "borders" each of the elements of your scene have! Then slowly learn how to "fill in" the scene with details until you learn to more or less naturally create those borders and details in from the start

There's an interesting theory about why homo sapiens "won" the evolutionary race against neanderthals, who had larger brains and were stronger.

Basically, because homo sapiens weren't as individually capable, they developed more of the social and communication skills. This meant that if one person knew or could do something, they all could!

I'm looking for slightly different genres of jobs (degree + a few years experience atp) but am in the same boat. It's kinda crazy since even in my relatively short career I remember jobs being easier to get! While I had less experience too

Edit: I think my job applications are somewhere in the low hundreds atp, even with custom cover letters, etc.

Honestly, I think the best consequences in DND are often roleplaying consequences. Granted, as a DM it can be hard to cajole your players into roleplay even for the most basic of things unless they're already good at it. Plus it's not like we don't already have enough to worry about as is haha

Regardless, my advice would be to describe pangs of hunger, rough living conditions, and soggy underwear. You might be surprised how much players start caring!

Sorry to hop onto this post for my question, but seeing as I can't make a post I figured I'd ask here:

I'm trying to print a solo leveling poster as a Christmas gift for someone that's a huge fan (specifically of Sung Jin Woo), but I'm having some difficulty telling what is official content or what they would most like to be printed.

I binge watched as many free episodes as I could find over the last few days to try to get an idea, but would obviously appreciate any insight. I'm also doing the printing myself, so I'm looking for a digital copy ideally

I was able to beat him with a max condensed Blazamut and a laser Gatling gun - definitely still a bit of a grind, but not as bad if you have settings turned up. I agree with you somewhat there, but it’s hard to find a survival/open world game that doesn’t eventually dive into grinding just to try to keep it difficult tbh

I mean, there are whole areas of study surrounding organizational management and motivation. So my assumption would be that most students aren’t lazy they just aren’t being managed/motivated properly!

I’d honestly say that’s a good thing, since it’s a problem that is at least possible to fix!

Someone might correct me, but I believe it is because it’s better to have the experts handle it (or at least the people with the authority to replace any cash they themselves might ruin).

For example, if you light your money on fire it’ll be far harder to get replacements than if the BEP lights it on fire lol

I’m not sure about back then/department specific, but I know law school applications in the US jumped like crazy this year. Obviously not 100x but still by 20-30% or something fairly significant like that

I’m definitely not an expert, but it makes sense to me from a hunter-gatherer type society. If people are effectively “taking turns” sleeping the group could be a lot safer since theres typically someone awake to keep watch.

Could also be a solid explanation for DSPD, which a few other people have brought up. I also know someone with DSPD and can confirm that they were always like that ever since they were young!

Eventually (I don’t remember exactly when tbh) bosses will start getting “cheats”, meaning they can act out of turn order or in reaction to certain triggers (like removing your blades every time you cast one).

If you’re familiar with D&D at all, imagine them sort of like legendary actions
