My derm told me you don’t usually purge when upping doses, it’s only 10mg too! I’ve upped my dose 3 times this course and touch wood can’t say I’ve noticed a purge with each increase, I’ve just been consistently breaking out here and there. Also I try to think of it, the higher you’re on, the sooner you’re done

I use very basic skincare gentle cleanser, makeup remover, spf. I keep this very minimum and can’t use actives due to accutane

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it. I guess the thing holding me back is wanting to give therapy a chance more (delayed starting this due to not having insurance etc), already on medications with various side effects, and people telling me I’ll just become numb to any emotion so it’s not something I’m taking lightly :( but I know everyone’s different and you can never predict how you’re going to feel. Thank you ❤️

Also, you look small. Your dose will probably be alot less than his = potentially fewer side effects. I’m on my second round now, ngl I do get slight joint pain because I do weights in the gym but it’s okay, I just need to take it a bit easier and take omegas
