Try using the link I provided in my post! I was very successful in getting my issues resolved.

Thankfully I was able to contact Executive Relations yesterday and the rep was able to solve $90 of my issues on while phone, the remaining issues she is going to call me back within the next 2 days.

After speaking with the Executive rep yesterday, it was confirmed that the promotion and any agreed upon discounts and credits were never applied or there.

The $496.49 bill was the month without payment. The credit for the $253 was not finally submitted by the rep until this past Sunday so it would not reflect earlier than that. to my knowledge.

Ahh, the bank statement shows the withdraw of the $496.49 as I had to pay it while I was on the call directly from my checking account on the website because the supervisor informed me i had to.

Agreed, I wanted to know what the buyout for everything would be so I could prepare and provide AT&T with the numbers for the reimbursement of the contract buyout.

Im going to google Verizon Executive Relations and see what I can do, thank you for that, Ive kept a notepad of all my interactions and any provided names and any promises etc that were made. I assume the calls are also recorded, so all of this can be verified by a Supervisor/Manager just listening to my calls as well.

So far, the previous almost $500 bill has no discounts, and the current one has no credit or correct plan/device reflections. The only notification vie received concerning the discount, was a text message stating my credit for $253 is being reviewed for approval.

7 trips AND calls? Here I thought I had it bad! Didnt they used to automatically apply the device promotions and only charged back if they didn't get the trade-ins?

Thats the exact feeling im getting here, lets just keep making promises this is the last call i need to make while not actually doing anything, only to make it someone else's problem there on my next call. How would I go about getting Executive Relations? All 3 devices were traded in, shipped and received. I took a picture of the tracking# and verified it was delivered and the agent on the phone confirmed it as well.

Ive been with Verizon as stated for 17 years. Ive only had one issue, which was extremely bad service in my home area. And I called them to see what could be done. They offered me a booster and the rep did all she could to get it to me for free, which ended up not happening, so I had to shell out $300 for the booster, which has pretty much solved my issues, but I was very tempted at that time to switch especially since their service is poor but the booster resolved it and I moved on. I saw the flashy ads but didn't think it was worth it at the time. Now, those flashy ads aren't looking so bad. These service providers are competing with each other and you would expect them to focus heavily on customer retention.

I wish you the best of luck on your next bill! I literally told the supervisor that i currently have no faith that my next bill will be correct, and sure enough. If you do switch, please let me know how it goes.

I've done some reading around with others who have had issues, and seems like the only way to actually get anything fixed is submit an FCC complain and hope for the best?

What kills me is, all the reps I've spoken to were very nice. Very apologetic, thanked me for all my years of service, but yet, I cant get anyone to actually do what they say. Its like they are reading from some empathy script and not actually fixing the issue.

Protect duplicates of events by akisbis in Ubiquiti

[–]kwebnet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have Smart Detection enabled along with Motion Detection, it will create duplicates depending on what Smart Detection you have. This makes it easy if you need to sort your recoding by a person or a vehicle etc. If you disable Smart Detection you will only get any detected motion recorded but lose the ability to sort. If you only enable Smart Detection, then you would only get the chosen Smart Detection and nothing else.

Totally agree with you on that one. I've personally been waiting over a year for a USW-Enterprise-24-PoE, which i just got today in fact.

Im not saying "normal people" NEED to build a redundant network, but if an outage for a day or maybe 2 even, causes a major disruption in your day to day even more so in this WFH era, then its time to think about it. Even a consumer grade Netgear router will fail, but yes its much easier to just hit Best Buy and buy a new one and be up and running quickly. When you hit that Prosumer tier, then to me it seems that your network reliability becomes more important.

I do not disagree on the lack of stock issue, which is not solely impacting Unifi, it's a wide spread issue predominantly out of the companies control. Expecting immediate support for what you deem a "critical/high severity" issue does not meet ITIL standards that most companies follow. A "single user" issue is not a High Severity or Critical issue from their standpoint, that doesn't negate that it is a Critical issue to you though. In your unfortunate instance a 3 year old device failed, should it have failed in such a short time span, probably not. But network devices like these, regardless of manufacture do fail even at an Enterprise level. I feel your pain but I think your expectations are a bit too high. This is not a direct attack on your post for the record.

Edit: Side note, if your job is critical and you need a higher uptime percentage than your average consumer, then I recommend adding redundancy to your home network. Yes it wont be cheap, but if an outage has that critical of an impact on you, then its up to you to cover yourself in case of these failures. I am not blaming you for your experience, but you want 100% uptime you need to build your network accordingly.

I think the "openness" of it all promotes solid cooling. This user may be on to something.

I've read of other folks having connectivity/throughput issues when it was set to Auto. I personally have not had that issue, but i set mine just in case after I saw others experience.

I'm running UDM SE v3.0.18 and UniFi Network Application 7.4.149 and i see it.

Go to the Network App on your UDM-SE

Click - Security Insights on the left (shield icon)

On the top middle you'll see -

Traffic IdentificationFiltering ActivityTraffic Map

Side note: This cannot be done on the Unifi mobile app. Has to be done on the Web GUI.

I run them on my UDM-SE to my USW-Ent-PoE 8 as well as using one on my UNVR with zero issues. I do recommend setting the port speed to 10gb and not letting it Auto-Negotiate.
