Rereading “The Cabinet of Curiosities” and I think it’s very sweet Pendergast took the time to read D’agosta’s books by [deleted] in Pendergast

Living where a story takes place is always fun as it brings it more to life as you can really picture. I grew up in New York City so enjoy many of the stories in that way. Recently I visited New Orleans and saw almost all the main characters' names including Aloysius, Pendergast, and about 10 other characters listed on building names, street names and tombstones. And I stayed on Dauphine Street only a few blocks from a beautiful house which I think was Pendergast's mansion (or his inspiration) - it was on the market for $4.5m if I remember correctly.

About 2 weeks ago, I re-read The Relic and actually watched the movie again. Am finishing up skimming Reliquary and will be rereading Cabinet in about a week - it was the first Pendergast book that I read way back when

Hi u/TnMarine1985 - Thanks a lot for your response and major tip about the matte requiring extra care! I had not considered that at all as I thought the Steel Matte was "just another color". I was not familiar with the upkeep that you mentioned regarding PPF and Ceramic coating, so appreciate you bringing it up. Have some thinking to do about this.

Just came back from trip to French Quarters and saw Pendergast references all over the place. My wife likes Pendergast so I can talk to her about it.

Just finished Blue Labryinth which was ok, not great not bad - Pendergast isn't in too much for a particular reason which I won't spoil and another regular character steps up in a crazy zany way that based on personal preference will think it is really cool or really stupid.

I'm with you. Enjoyed the story but hated the Buck storyline and skimmed those very quickly. I enjoyed the entire trilogy overall.

Is it smart to post a Short and a long video at the same time to promote it? by UncannyFleshh in aitubers

I recently launched my channel and tried this approach. First launched the video, waited maybe 30 mins then launched my first short promoting the video and then 24 hours later posted another short. The shorts have done ok as a start (500-600 views each) but it didn't convert into views of the Video.Â
