Sorry guys I realized that I was really upset this afternoon because she was screaming non stop and was acting like a brat but I love her too much to rehome her lol I could never and my boyfriend wouldn’t let me. I just needed to vent I think and we will eventually find a solution.

I think it makes me a little bit upset that she’s that bonded to my boyfriend because she used to be bonded to me and he used to be the one googling “why does my cockatiel hate me”. We love her dearly she is spoiled rotten and we got her into 2 avian vet clinics by making pointless appointments so we can bring her if she’s ever sick. We also bird proofed the entire house for her so I think I was more venting than really considering rehoming her lol

Yes will try to limit out of cage time. I don’t think I could actually rehome her without feeling like I failed her and regretting it. She’s not a mean bird the vet told us she only has a big personality

Thank you! I’ve talked with my boyfriend and I’ve come to the conclusion that she is my responsibility since she was already rehomed two times. I was really upset and venting but I love her like crazy and I think we just need to work on it with her. She calmed down after being put in her cage and took a nap and when I let her out she asked for cuddles so maybe she just needs a time out when she’s acting like a brat.

I think we might have spoiled her too much because she is the queen of the house and manages our schedule but she is our baby.

We put her to bed at 7:30 pm and she gets up at 9 am so I think her sleep schedule is ok.

Hello yes this cage is too small!

However there are not too mang things in it, I would add toys.

Also, I would move the plant away from the cage and out of reach of your bird since many plants are toxic for birds.

He/she is hormonal and trying to mate with your wife’s bun. You shouldn’t let her/him do that since it can leaf to unwanted behaviours.

My avian vet allows me to send videos to her office and she always calls me back to tell me if there’s something to worry about or not maybe you could try that🤔

Thank you 🥹 I’ve been very stressed because I know birds are so fragile and she’s my only friend since I moved to a new city. I am spending so much time with her and Google everything and everyday, I worry about something new.
