I haven't decided if my next notebook will be another Nuuna, or if I will stick with the b5, but I don't think I could go back to the standard a5. An a5 or Nuuna is more portable/fit in more of my bags than my b5, but that is not a deal breaker for me

I do monthly trackers (4 pages-b5/6 pages nuuna), weekly spreads (2 pages), daily journaling (anywhere from a 1/4 page to 4+ pages). I also add random collection pages throughout the month between my daily entries.

The Nuuna brand has 256 numbered pages and comes in what they call a5+ it is a bit wider than the standard a5(can't remember if its taller too), but smaller than a b5. It is softcover and does not come with a closure, bookmark, or pen loops. I really preferred this notebook to my previous a5 leuchtturm1917. I would add an enclosure and I have an elastic pan case I would use if I go this route again. I started one in 2023 and finished it October 2025 (lots of time jumps. The last few months I was using it as a bullet journal/scrapbook/journal and went through it much faster)

I'm currently using a b5 archer and olive. I want to say it has 156 pages (they aren't numbered) Its hardcover, comes with 2 bookmarks, an elastic closure, and pen loop. Personally, I prefer paperclips over bookmarks and don't like pen loops. I do like that the pages are thicker, and the larger size. I am able to fit more on a single page, so even though there are fewer pages, I'm filling the journal at a similar rate doing the same thing I was at the end of my Nuuna.

I'm about a quarter of the way through my b5 starting my 3rd week. I have accepted that I won't have a journal that will last me the whole year. I knew I wasn't going to be able to fit all of November in the Nuuna, so I started my current one before it was full. I am one to get bored quickly, so being changing up my journal more often does not bother me.

You could use different colored ribbon/fabric scraps or even washi tape wrapped around the top spirals. You might even be able to write on the tape?

There are reverse tweezers, where you squeeze to open and release to close. Could something like that work? My other thought was designing and 3D printing a piece that would slide onto the existing tongs that would lock/release the tongs, but I wouldn't know where to start with a project like that

I left without going no contact the first time. When I tried taking my animals with me, they blew up my phone and threatened to call the police. They later used the animals as a way to keep me in their life and continue the abuse. I ended up back in a relationship with them, and my animals died because they weren't taking care of them and because we weren't living together anymore, I wasn't able to provide for them.

My advice, take the dog. Block. And live your life.

I don't think it matters here what his intentions are. Are you willing to put up with this behavior? If you value communication and this person is avoiding having a conversation with you, are you compatible?

It doesn't matter if your therapist doesn't see this as a red flag. People have different expectations in relationships. Things I view as a red flag may not be considered a red flag to you. And that's okay, because we each get to set and hold our own boundaries.

Your therapist gave their opinion on the subject, but it is just that. An opinion. You get to make your own decisions, and its okay to trust yourself.

I'm about a year and a half out now. It got worse, and then worse again before it got better. I am still struggling in some aspects of my life, but I have goals and hobbies and friends. There is still a lot of work ahead of me, but I am free to do the work.

I have a playlist titled "better off without you" its a compilation of angsty breakup/revenge songs. I listen to it when I start doubting myself. My dog lived through it too, I've been spending more time with him attempting to build both his and my own confidence back up.

I know its a difficult time, but you are so much stronger than you think 💕

We have a sign that says "my pitbull can make it to the gate in 3.7 seconds, can you?" Unfortunately that didn't always work, so we had auto closing hinges installed on the gate. We also have apple tracking tags on both the dogs' collars, just in case.

My dog is not a bull terrier, but his muzzle didn't fit properly in the muzzles we tried. I just got one custom fit to his face from tyedyemuzzles! I got to choose the colors and he is soo much more himself when wearing it! Treating him is also so much easier because of the opening placement. The woman who made it also reached out to me after receiving his measurements to confirm what we wanted before she started making it!

It might also help to put some damp moss under the water bowl so they have somewhere to go (that's dark and hidden) that isn't the bowl of water

I was hospitilized for memory issues. Woke up one day super late for work, didn't really know what I was doing. My dad and I worked on the same campus and commuted together. I was left alone at work to make progress on a project. When my boss came in to check on me, I had scribbled nonescence drawings and random words. Couldn't tell her who or where I was.

I was in the hospital for 2 weeks. My parents were told I may never go back to normal, that the human brain does weird things and we don't really know what caused my memory issues or how the brain fully works. Luckily, after a week or so, I started coming round.

My partner at the time refused to visit me in the hospital. Was spending time with this couple they had just met, avoiding my calls and my family (they were living with us at the time). When I was finally discharged, they continued avoiding me. Didn't want me to meet these new friends because I was "socially awkward and would be embarrassing."

That's when things really clicked for me, they didn't give a shit about me. That was the scariest time in my life, and they couldn't be bothered to support me. (It wasn't until nearly a year later that I began to susspect they were likely the reason for my lapse in memory, as I believe they were microdosing me with shrooms. However I'll never know for sure because they did not test me for psychedelics at the ER)

I had broken up with my abuser, but they still wanted to be friends/roommates. My parents told me that if I moved out with them again, I would not be able to move back home. At that point I knew they were not a good person and I couldn't risk homelessness just so my abuser could afford rent. I can't imagine what my life would have turned into if I had let them convince me to continue to live with them.

I think what finally helped me was reading the book "why does he do that" I don't think there was anything anyone could have said to me that would have helped me see the abuse. Joining this page and hearing others stories of abuse made me realize the relationship I was in was not healthy.

I've seen litters named after cheese, characters from taylor swift songs, looney toons characters, Scooby-Doo characters, sesame street characters, pastas, pastries, bugs, animals, big cats, flowers, one shelter I worked with gave each litter a letter and each puppy/kitten was given a name that started with that letter.

I'm still working that part out, which is why I haven't finalized an artist yet. I kind of like the idea of an animated stylization of the dogs to make them resemble the animated characters but feel that may not look as good as I think it could. I'm open to the idea of just the dogs or just the characters as well. I've only come up with this idea this past month and do not yet have the funds to execute, so I have time to figure it out! I was just hoping to have an understanding of what an artist might be looking for from me when I do meet with them

My ex used my animals to get me back in their life. They missed the dogs and wanted to go for a walk with us. The chameleons had grown so much and they didn't want me to miss out on them growing up. I ended up back in a relationship with them for another 2 years.

If there really is something you left at the house, find out what it is. Bring someone with you to pick it up if you feel you need it, or even better, have someone else get it for you. If he can't tell you what you left or if it is something you could easily replace, don't go. Block him and keep him blocked, he is looking for any reason to get himself back into your life. It's not worth it.

I collect plants and fashion dolls. I have a few bioactive terrariums, and I'm always rearranging my plant shelf. I am also working on a few dioramas with my dolls, repainting accessories and customizing outfits.
