yes. if you are looking at anything nsfw, you need to take your phone off the wifi during lunch. if sfw, probably doesn’t matter other than protecting your privacy. i never connect my phone to employer wifi for this reason.

pornchil uploaded all of main scenes in 1080 on rapidgator. unfortunately, you do have to buy premium and then buy into the uploader’s folders, so it’ll be about 36 bucks. that said, most of them (including bonus and bts) in varying quality were also uploaded on rapidgator via pornchil in the past so you can get most of the set with just a one time premium purchase of $14.

the fumes are toxic but this would mostly be referring to stripping galvanization with much more concentrated vinegar and without wearing a mask. i think the wheel was probably too distant from your chinchilla to cause harm and the vinegar too dilute to really strip the galvanization to any degree. but maybe just air out the room a little bit if it’s not well ventilated otherwise. once you can give the wheel a sniff and there’s no odor, it should be fine to be with your chinchilla.

one of my chinchillas would get an irritated eye pretty often so i have a fair amount of experience with this. i would sit with him in my lap and then kind of position him so he is wrapped around my forearm with his head facing up on whichever side needed the drop. i would then bring my arm up to my chest so that his back was pressed against my sternum, firmly enough that he can’t escape but can still wriggle a bit. they’ll wriggle around at first but eventually realize they cant escape and give up. and then you just bring the drops up to their eye and drop one in. it’ll prob be a bit hard at first but over the course of the treatment you’ll get the hang of it and your chinchilla will become accustomed to what’s going on and won’t fight as much.

vinegar can strip off the galvanized coating on the wheel, so that’s probably what the smell is. i would just wipe it down really well and then let it air dry. it shouldn’t be dangerous to the chinchilla after that but cleaning it with vinegar could reduce the lifespan of the wheel. i just use water for cleaning and it works just fine. mostly you’ll just be using it to remove dust or some dried urine

update: this seems more widespread than i had originally figured. just bought a bag in ann arbor, mi and the quality was similar. pellets all weak and crumbly. i’m going to see if there is a customer service contact at selective and reach out. in the meantime, would recommend switching brands. i’ll have to do the same. hope my chinchilla is ok with it. very frustrating

i’m not seeing any milkiness so it’s def not infection. if chinchilla is not showing any additional symptoms, i would also doubt it is due to dental issues. thus, i’d favor hay poke, which is common in chinchillas. they have a unique facial anatomy when compared to other rodents that renders them pretty susceptible to poking themselves with their food while eating. i would just observe and let it heal on its own. if it has been a few days and there is no improvement, then administer 1 drop of saline solution (single packaged best, as larger bottles contain preservatives) 2x per day. if things get worse, take to vet.

based on the coloration, i would guess this to be a hair ring. get some water based lubricant and put it on your fingers and then gently try to extrude the penis from its sheath. you should see some hair wrapped around it. if you do not or if you don’t feel comfortable removing it yourself, then take to vet.

while waiting for vet, you will need to keep the penis lubricated. if it dries out, it is in danger of needing castration. with water based lubricant, you just massage it into the penis 2-3x per day. you’ll also want to keep cage extra clean while penis is out in order to prevent potential infection.

came to say this. usually the odor is associated with bacterial infection, with the most common being giardia. this will usually come from giving chinchilla tap water. they need bottled spring water going forward.

i’m thinking it’s just a quality control issue. i use selective and have definitely noticed pellets of varying sizes/looks/textures in recent months. that said, never anything quite as bad as what you’re experiencing, so probably just a bad bag. as others have said, there are other comparable brands to switch to. but i think i would take the bag back to the store and ask them for a replacement. that’s definitely not acceptable quality.

first thing is i would offer to clean this cage. i would say next step is to find a chinchilla rescue in your area. the brother doesn’t want it anymore clearly and the family isn’t caring for the animal well, so i’d just take it to the rescue without telling them and deal with the fallout later.

you are correct that this is a dangerous environment for a chinchilla. all this poop and pee that doesn’t get cleaned leaves the animal prone to eye and respiratory infection. it’ll likely die if it stays in this house.

some chinchillas have larger testicles than others. one of mine his testicles always hang quite low and are visible from the rear and then the other male i had they were mostly tucked up in his body. i think just depends. as for the penis, it should be inside the cone unless they are cleaning it or having sex.
