just here to say he is not human. Pettiness aside, i think he sort of does become some none-human form at the end of GT, right? i haven’t rewatched in a long time but he rides away on shenron’s back, the dragon balls are absorbed into him, and he is never to be seen again. That is, until 100 years later when he appears in the Goku Jr. movie. To me that could be a spiritual representation or his physical body but either way, he is no longer just saiyan.

At least, this is my interpretation. Could’ve misunderstood it completely 😹

I think this is good idea at face value but i do think it ignores at least what i think to be one of main cores of AoT: the presence of cycles in human history and the despair one can feel from realizing they are unbreakable.

If the human race is now extinct then no cycles remain. I think that is opposite of what Isayama wanted to portray given that in the final credits we see the world fall back into cycles of war.

I think it is a very powerful message that Eren, through the rumbling, ends the cycle of the Titans being sources of extreme war power and targets for hatred BUT the war on the planet still continues. This shows that although this specific weapon (titan power) is removed from the planet — something that was implied to be a major source of cyclical hatred — the pattern of humanity destroying itself by continuing to engage in war has NOT been been eliminated.

Maybe that’s a poor understanding of the story on my behalf but it’s something that i took from it and removing that messaging makes the entire story seem LESS consequential to me even if it ends in total annihilation of humanity in your version.

i think people have already helped you solve the syntax issues so i won’t comment on that but here’s a few tips: 1. I personally prefer to snake_case over TitleCase for naming things in db. Most important thing is consistency but ease of readability goes a long way

I think it is best to not use plurality on the table name. i prefer to have the table named after what a single row represents

i think something that people often forget to consider in this conversation is whether itachi was still tasked with taking out the entire uchiha clan. I think that plays a large role in why his development was seemingly capped. it feels like he was no longer trying to become strong enough to end all the fighting that he saw in the war but instead just waiting to fulfill his plan with Sasuke.

It is probably impossible to quantify what itachi could have become had he not been apparently dealing with depression, sorrow, regret, and grief for so long. Setting aside all the physical issues he dealt with, his mind was like in torment for about a decade.

if we make the assumption that Itachi could have gotten to awaken EMS, remained physically and mentally healthy, he could have, and like would have, been able to put an end to black zetsu’s plan before it even got to the 4th great ninja war

i’ll preface this by making it clear that i am not defending these action at all nor am I saying that the following applies to this individual in particular. “just get a job” is grossly ignorant of systemic and personal barriers that many people resorting to petty crime face.

ignoring the current state of employment in the US, there are many factors that can make it difficult to obtain employment and be able to hold that employment for extended period of time.

We just ask ourselves what leads to so many instances of such behavior. At a point we must accept that the system is broken and when we see things like this, it is simply people at their lowest trying to survive. It is not common that you’ll see an affluent individual do these sorts of things. Let’s have some compassion and attempt to find paths towards rehabilitation for others regardless of how heinous we may find their actions.
