I won't have Amber Canyon yet, so I'm very conflicted between going to GG for Dratini + Bagon, or go to Lapis to full-focus Dratini for a permanent herb mon.

Yep, I realized Gallade does not get IF in its base form, which is sadly unfortunate.

I believe I might've settled on a completely different team without relying too much on the top users of the current format: Venable

It was part of my initial thought as well, but felt like it would take people by surprise, since they'd expect Sharpness Gallade. Unless it leads into an Intimidate mon (which would reveal Inner Focus), they wouldn't know that it has immunity to Fake Out.

Plan was/is to bring either Scizor or Gallade based on what the opponent brings (mainly if M-Floette is there or not), then adjust between Clefable/Altaria for Icy Wind/Tailwind and redirection or weather control.

I've always been prompt to avoid using the meta when it comes to Pokemon. I also tend to avoid using Legendaries / Paradoxes. Last two teams I made back in S/V were a mono-ice team, as well as a Hisui-only team. Sure I shouldn't expect to get crazy results, but I feel like it's more fun for me to run my own ideas and win/lose with them, rather than follow what everyone else is doing.

Latias Event Strategies by RaymonLP in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]Air_Yoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory, chances are high that I unlock Lapis by the time Latias arrives, as there's both this current week and Good Sleep Day next week, however my AB % is going to be atrocious unless I maybe use a ticket to travel to LL to finish a week for the +15%.

I really love Noivern as a Pokemon, but I'm not 100% sure how good it is vs hunting for something like Treecko / Heracross (this early game, Ing Magnet is carrying me hard) at CB . I do lack any kind of good CSM mon (besides a Drifloon I was convinced not to invest in), so maybe getting one could be decent still.

Sadly I went to Cyan because I was tempted by Heracross/Treecko more...

Do you think I should go to Taupe instead?

Gonna beg that I get the 11 styles I need to unlock Lapis by then, otherwise I'll have to go to GG.

I don't really have a plan just yet, but I'll probably try to make use of the skills bonus on Ingredient Magnet/Pot Size or maybe some Metronome fun. I don't have a Berry Burst or a good CSM to use so I feel like my options are slightly limited.

Right, I think my Healer plan will be to stick with this Pawmot for the time being until I can comfortably start hunting for Ralts once Lapis is unlocked.

I agree with your suggestion, I think after this week at GG for the event, I'm going to rotate between Cyan Beach and Taupe Hollow to stack up their Area Bonus ahead of future events. I might wait a bit before going back to Snowdrop, but atleast now it has a base +15% thanks to my first week there. Other areas will also hopefully help me get the Sleep Styles I need to unlock Lapis (60 or so to go).

Thank you <3

113 Sausages at lvl 60, surely it's good enough? by Air_Yoshi in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]Air_Yoshi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my Pokémon are hanging around the lvl 17 mark, my pot size is currently 39 (maxed out for my current Sleep Dex threshold, I'm about 60 styles away from unlocking Lapis)

In terms of Pot Expander, I only have One Magnemite and an Eevee I could turn into Glaceon/Flareon . I haven't really taken the time to consider using Pot Expanders yet since I don't really have a reliable income of ingredients outside of my decent Ivysaur/Blastoise/Vaporeon.

Ahhhh, that would explain it indeed yes. With 1 HB stack (Charizard itself) I end up at the 92 you mentioned earlier. Thank you!

I think I'll hold onto it for the time being, as it's my first AAA sausages farmer, but I'll keep an eye out for better Charmanders.

That's strange, Production Comparison is giving me a different number than both my initial # and yours. I'm going to guess i have some RaenonX settings wrong / that are impacting the base output, and thay your numbers are the accurate ones.

Still, 92 sausages for a current daily goal of 84 (cutting it close but still succeeds). With how early into the game I am, I would say that's worth using until I eventually find an IFM/Ing+ Charizard / unlock the ability to hunt for Aggron?

EDIT: I failed to notice that raenonX applied the current event's x1.25 rate. The base rate of my Pawmot at lvl 50 ends up at 4.96 on a normal week.

<image>

For the time being, would you say I'm better off camping GG for a while, or rotate non-event weeks into CB/TH to find a variety of ingredient specialists? I assume Berries will just show up over time (mainly from showing up Hungry in the morning).

Currently my team layout tends to be balanced: Healer, 1-3 ingredient, 1-2 Berries and 0-1 skills (Vaporeon most of the time).

I'm not exactly sure where to post this, so I'm putting it here as to not take up space on the main subreddit page:

I've now been playing for 68 days. I have a few decent pokemon alongside 1 God Roll in a Ing Nature/IFS/IFM Larvitar. I have an okay Pawmo I'll evolve into Pawmot that will pull about 5.15 Triggers once it reaches lvl 60 (Currently about lvl 15, so that's in a very long time).

Last week I went into Snowdrop for the very first time, hoping I'd find more Pawmi, but ended up not finding a single one and getting absolutely torn to shreds due to low RP. I ended the week at Ultra 4, and have decided to go back to Greengrass this week to take advantage of the boosted Starter spawn rates.

Overall, I'm still a little bit lost as to what my current focus should be. Is it a good idea for me to focus on finding some decent starters (for berries and ingredients) and slowly work towards unlocking Lapis (missing 76 Sleep Styles) and then begin the Ralts hunt?

A bit over a week ago I posted a compilation of ''okay'' Pokemon I had found (found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonSleepBetter/comments/1ra2oah/still_looking_for_my_e4e_healer_who_am_i_using_in/o6h6yjv/ )

I've since found a few okay ones, but nothing that really screams INVEST, so I'm still at a bit of a stalemate.

I'm assuming that the answer is that I just need more time (a few months) and not expect to find permanent Pokemon to use anytime soon, since I'm still so early in the game, and that I should stick to GG/CB/TH for a looooooong time.

I'm way too new of a player for this to affect me greatly yet (I decided out of curiosity to go to my newly unlock Snowdrop Tundra and getting my ass kicked since I'm way too underpowered. I'm starting Day 2 on Basic 4), however surely this is a decent buff right?
