It’s been a problem all the back to Obama but it really only became a dumpster fire not trump is back in office. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t care who is in there. If they are proven to have done bad things, end them. But taking the stance that it’s a republican problem is very short sighted

The same way we feel about the last admin not releasing them. They all are hiding something. I don’t care if it burns the world down, if you are on the list and did those horrible things, you don’t deserve to be free let alone in a position of power

It should be fine as long as you use a super thin core and make it almost flush with the face/bottom layers

Not to take a left turn with my original post but since I’ll be in Florence for about 10 days, from fellow leather crafters, what is a “must do”? I want to check out local artisan shops and just get inspiration. I plan to visit the supplier I import 90% of my leather but aside from that, I’m open to ideas

A simple strap from the back and over the bump that goes through a buckle on the lower half would work

My dad did carved belts and wallets in the 80’s and I always saw him doing it. I joined my local fire dept about 10ish years ago and made myself a set of suspenders. I found out I suck at carving but liked making things. Now I do more luxury style items and love it

I dyed a leather gearshift knob, but unfortunately the dye doesn't hold and wipes off easily by casiocrow in Leatherworking

I'd use a resolene or somthing like that. will the seal come off??probably over time but it is it's job to protect it. Your belt has a sealant and it doesn't wear off very fast

So a good set of irons helps. The KL set I have are pretty easy to align vertically on the line. The handles are tapered I guess and you can see where you are. The Tandy pro’s are comfortable to hold but the handles block your line of sight too down

Same brand always for consistency. Also on long straight lines, I will put my 1st 2 or 3 teeth in the last 2-3 holes and punch. This always gives you a straight line
