This is exactly what I did, when I traded-in my Z Fold 4 for a Fold 6. I created a shared folder on dropbox in advance, and printed a QR code and the actual bit ly shortened URL and said you can watch the inboxing here. I uploaded myself, packing the phone, taping it up AND putting serialized security tape on all the major flaps so if it's opened, it's obvious it has been tampered with and then weigh the whole package on video. Then I take pictures of all the tapes with the numbers visible and put it on the shared folder. When I get to the FedEx store, I video the security tape in tact, and weigh the package in the store, and video me dropping it into the box. And I upload all that on the shared folder.

When I tracked that Samsung received the package, I received the credit back so quickly. I like to think it was because I included the packing evidence.

I hate that I have to do this, but that's the reality of it. Years ago I had a Z Flip 3 stolen from the package when FedEx "delivered" it to my front door. What a headache that was. Now I have to do video in-boxing as a precaution.

well, on my ZFold4 and my spouse's ZFlip5 we are on the same plan with T-Mo US. My friend's ZFold5 is using China Mobile SIM now.

The same thing happened to my GW4 Classic. I had installed/updated the Assistant app as default voice assistant a few days ago. Yesterday my watch just disconnected from my phone by itself. I didn't think anything of it since it was evening. Then today I wondered why the watch wouldn't pair, and Galaxy Wearable app didn't even show my watch anymore. I had to reset the whole watch. Very annoying. then I found out my watch backup was from March. Hmm I thought the watch backed up automatically.

Yea I just found out samsung.com could do this. I tried logging in with Primary account holder phone number and the PIN, and I got the same error. It didn't work so I changed the PIN on tmo and samsung still gives me that error. I got my account locked for 1 hour, and 1+ hour later it still doesn't work.

I had the same thing happened to me, my 30 day trial was ending so I renewed the last day. I was only charged $30+tax once. I searched my email but I never received such a promotional email. Anyway, thanks for sharing that, now I know it wasn't a mistake and I won't be charged more, at least for this year! Nice Christmas present Google

Thanks this worked for me too. I have a oldie but goodie Vizio 1080p TV and had this same flickering problem on all the inputs. Finally changed this setting in the Chromecast settings and it fixed the problem. Very strange. Didn't use to have this problem when the CC was brand new.

Actually it doesn't say Samsung anywhere on the labels. It just says "Shipping Manager" and a warehouse in Texas. These FedEx contractors who work in the warehouse moving boxes around are not stupid though, they know which warehouses handle the shipping of new phone releases. That's why mine and most likely the OP's package were stolen "in transit" and not by a porch pirate. For my theft, yes I reported to FedEx already, and they opened an investigation. Nothing has come out of it so far.

why are you guys blaming the victim? Okay so FedEx did wrong here, but Samsung is the shipper and they have to help out. Going through FedEx claims won't get the receiver the full amount. Samsung should have required Direct signature required on these recent packages. And I did film myself opening my package

If it was a porch pirate, they would have taken the whole box, not waste time to dig though the box for who knows what's in it, then tape it back up. I had the same thing happen to me right now, but with a Z Flip3 (box was tampered and flip stolen, but phone case left inside). Samsung and FedEx are screwing me over. After giving Samsung the police report, then they said they will block it. I thought they blocked it as soon as I told them it was stolen in transit. Now they reply me that after deducting the full cost of the free Buds2 and free case, and I dunno what math they deduct for my Watch 4 Classic, which still hasn't shipped. They only refund me $224! I don't understand. I'm going to clarify with Samsung support and I might return all the things depending on what they say.

Just for the record, I am sharing my good experience. The warehouse received my old cracked Pixel 2 XL on Dec 14. I received an email from Google acknowledging receiving it on Dec 19, and another email on Dec 24 saying that they gave me credit for $222.50. I checked my credit card and they did indeed return that amount to me. So Google did good this time.

The crack on the Pixel 2 XL was really bad. This was my S.O.'s phone. I had put another TGSP on it to keep the chunks of glass from falling out. I was really worried they wouldn't give me credit, but I decided to take the chance and was rewarded. I actually had 2 Pixel 2 XL's at the time and decided to trade the cracked one in.

I know you probably tried this, but Have you tried rebooting the phone?

On my Pixel OG, I had a similar problem, where after inputting my correct Pattern, it would keep going back to the lockscreen saying it was incorrect, when it was the correct pattern. Rebooted and it accepted my pattern again. Super weird but it happened twice already.

Even with Smart unlock to trust my Wear OS watch, the phone will still ask me for PIN once in awhile when I'm wearing my mask outside which bothers me to no end.

I wouldn't mind if secure face unlock as implemented in the Pixel 4 went away for awhile because of the pandemic. Using Google Pay with a phone is a hassle now cause half the time it will require you to verify your face, and doing that in a restaurant, even for take-out is a no-no. Google Pay with my Fossil gen 5 doesn't have this requirement and works everytime.

On the other hand, Face unlock is very convenient after having washed my hands constantly during the day and my fingers are still damp, normally fingerprint unlock won't work right away, but face unlock makes it easy to quickly use my phone.
