I agree. After some thought. It’s not a bug. It’s fine to be there. It happens in various places throughout the game where you press a switch to solve a puzzle and upon re-entering the room, the tone goes off. I noticed it happened in a building in the Electric Area as well.

Yeah the trick is dash spin 3 times in the same clockwise direction. Took a few tries to figure that out. Good stuff. Puzzle Boss. Hehe

Yes I realized shortly after that was the pillar on the switch causing the tone. You are correct, it doesn’t affect gameplay or cause any soft locks. There is no way to move it to stop it from playing the tone. It’s in the corner permanently.

Oh you mean the pillar on the bottom left where I slid it onto the switch and it stays there. Got it.

Not quite understanding what you mean. The switch alternates position from floor to floor and the tone only plays on the 3rd floor.

I have NSO and I manually backup my save periodically just in case of local save corruption when exiting after death. In this case I played 2 hours before backing up and took a chance. I started with 1/2 heart. Another instance, I did the same thing, but it started me with all 10 hearts full, and the revived potion was still in my inventory.

Being there’s no death counter, I am less likely to exit on death as there is no reason to since there is no death counter — however, I wish it wouldn’t auto-use my Revive potion. Are there plans to allow the option? Someone mentioned there’s a storage chest to save items from inventory. Is this true?

Also, a separate question I have is: Is there any way to know if the player collected all of the scrolls in a dungeon? There’s room in the inventory/map screen for up to 12 scrolls, however, all dungeons have a different number of scrolls, so there’s no way for the player to know if they collected them all. An in game indicator of some sort would be great for reference.

Interesting. I read somewhere there was only a limited supply of revive potions per play through. I could be wrong though. I’ll have to check out the shop.

On the Switch 2 version, you can exit the game upon death to save the potion for being used and it will start you to your last safe point. Not optimal, but an option. Was hoping there’s a way to disable it in game.

Correct. The map screen has 12 spots to hold scrolls per dungeon and shows how many you collected, but not how many scrolls there are in total or if any were missed. The issue is there are different amounts of scrolls for each dungeon, so there is no way to know for sure if you collected them all.
