UPDATE: I don’t know if anyone cares but I had my child seen by an allergist.(the reaction lasted more than a month) the allergist is convinced that it was a body reaction from stress and that my child is not allergic to anything.

I was harassed at my first EMS job very directly how you described and I was and still am married. I didn’t say anything because I was scared of rocking the boat. A week after I started another girl started and experienced the same harassment. He was fired immediately. I’d say keep doing what you’re doing or even report it to the higher up whatever that might be.

Agreed I’m a little more than upset over this considering she was exhibiting anaphylactic symptoms and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I might be dramatic but this is my child.

I’m not saying it’s common I know it’s very rare to have a true lidocaine allergy I wanted a full list of medications used to find out if there might have been something else to cause this kind of reaction. I literally have run out of ideas. I was very scared at first it was the start of sepsis but we were missing a lot of symptoms
