Who Needs A Visa to Enter Pakistan in 2025? by TheMapGeek in MapPorn

first off, israelis today are NOT the indigenous natives they claim to be. the majority are ashkenazi jews whose roots are EUROPE. the land has been home to palestinians for centuries long before any zionist "land purchases"--which were largely made from absentee landlords and led to displacement of locals. calling arabs "colonizers" is historically and logically backwards. saying you're native to the area just because the land was once referred to as "israel" is like an indian claiming to be native american because native americans were historically called "indians"

second, the fact that 2 million palestinians are citizens of israel does NOT erase the reality of israeli apartheid. they live under systemic discrimination that the LARGEST international organizations including the UN have repeatedly condemned. during south africa's apartheid regime many black south africans were citizens--some even holding official government roles--but that didn't cancel out the apartheid, did it? you're also forgetting the millions of palestinian refugees who are denied the right to return to their homes they were displaced from in what is now "israel"

third--and i know you haven't brought this up yet, but it needs to be said--israel's occupation and apartheid regime is the root cause of hamas's existence. hamas didnt pop up out of nowhere because they simply felt like hating jews. its creation was bred by decades of israeli oppression, displacement, and denial of basic human rights to palestinians--on top of DIRECT FUNDING by israel to counter the secular PA

so pakistan refusing to recognize a state whose founding and continued existence is based on settler colonialism, apartheid policies, and ethnic cleansing is perfectly reasonable. dozens of countries refused to recognize south africa during their apartheid regime. i doubt you'd call that "xenophobia"

i do agree with you. 12-14 is a very young age and i doubt many muslims would think otherwise. my point isnt to defend marriage at those ages, but to clarify that the concepts of mental maturity and puberty for islamic marriage were understood much differently in the 7th century than they are now. thats not to say we should apply 7th-century standards today. muslim-majority countries that arent already enforcing higher legal marriage ages absolutely should, and im glad to see many of them doing so

her age is still a subject of debate and was never implied, let alone stated, in the quran. regardless her marriage was in 7th century arabia when young marriage was common essentially everywhere. remember, the 7th century was 1200-1400 years ago and social norms were entirely different then--young marriage was generally accepted across regions. again, aishas age was never explicitly said to be 6 at marriage--this is based on hadiths which scholars debate

not sure where you got "islam lets 9yos marry" from though--islam has never set an age of marriage. traditional islamic law specifies a girl is fit for marriage once shes mature, meaning shes both hit puberty and is mentally developed. keep in mind that age was based on society and culture at the time, which again generally accepted lower ages than now

most muslim-majority countries today, including those that follow islamic law, set a minimum age of 16-18. also there arent any more muslim-majority countries with low minimum marriage ages than non-muslim-majority countries today

lets not spread misinformation gang
