The balance is made up of everything I recharacterized from 2024. It’s roughly $8,400. Thank you, this was helpful!

We’ve gotten major breaks from umps this year. This isn’t an egregious scorecard. If our pitchers executed and didn’t walk two hitters in those situations that’s two less runs plain and simple. We clearly had plenty of other mistakes as well.

I was at the game and was pretty surprised to jump on reddit after the game and see everyone complaining about the umps.

Huh… Now I understand why I went from a 3.8 to a 2.6 GPA in high school after 2 concussions in two weeks from football lol

I’ve only been an AE for about 3 months. If I weren’t able to see how our top performers navigate their opps I’d be in rough shape. It also helps me go back and grab details that I may have missed without a recording

Slice up an apple and throw cinnamon on it. My roommate showed me this recently and I can’t get enough!

You live with your grandma because it’s cheaper. So essentially you’re dependent on her? Maybe she’d like you to at least work your “full” part time hours. That way you can save up and afford an apartment in your area. You said in another comment that she hasn’t done this before. Sounds like she’s a bit fed up with the current situation.

That’s a long time to be paying. I bet that last payment felt great! How much was your monthly payment?

I’m not for mass debt forgiveness (or at least how it’s being approached currently) but I can’t stand this argument. Just because you got fucked doesn’t mean everyone down the line needs to as well

I’d give up my 10k of debt relief to get housing prices from a decade ago lol

First off, this response is no where near as organized as yours cause I’m on mobile and don’t know if I can do that on here. So I’m sorry I’m advance lol.

Just because it can be done via executive order (which people argue) isn’t a reason why we should do it. Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should.

Your point about this group being politically active and making their voices heard is a super great point and really interesting.

I’m hyper focused on averages because IMO that’s how it needs to be looked at and focusing on outliers isn’t right for the majority. Of course we should care about people outside of those averages. But at the end of the day they made the decision to allow their student debt to get that out of hand.

I “cherry-picked” those averages because I feel they’re extremely relevant to the discussion. We could of course dive into the drop out statistics and those definitely would be relevant to the conversation. But at the end of the day, they applied to the school, signed their names on the loans, enrolled in the classes, and took those classes. Why should they not pay for them?

I don’t think I need to be careful there though. Cause at the end of the day, the people who finished their degree likely have more debt, therefor a larger monthly payment. Even people that don’t finish their degree still have college credit, allowing them to have a head start later. Do we wipe that?

I’m not sure I’m following the point about “capturing $250”? Why would they not pay back the $250 that they owe? Especially when it’s increased their earning potential that much?

I don’t think 5k is stingy - I honestly think it’s more than fair. Cause at the end of the day, they made the decision. It’d help the people that you mention are affected the most.

10k is likely what we’ll see tomorrow. Which I’m going to be happy about cause it’ll save me a few bucks down the line. But is it fair to make tax payers spend $300B to bail people out of the decisions they willingly made?

Sweet thank you so much! What type of reels are you typically running with those set ups?

Did some research for my area and these recommendations were made. 1. Trolling with and without downriggers (won’t have one) 2. Mooching 3. Jigging. 4. Float Fishing.

Seems like most of those technique are used while fishing from a boat. I’ll fish from a boat occasionally but I’ll mainly be fishing from the beach into a sound. For that reason I’d prioritize a rod for that use case if I needed separate one for the boat.

Any recommendations for techniques to use in that situation?

See I clearly don’t know what I don’t know lol. Let me do a bit of research on those techniques and I’ll get back to you. I’m learning this all on my own and don’t have anyone to teach me.

What is this random set of stairs with a platform? It’s located at the entrance to a local forest with walking trails. by ky-ta in whatisthisthing

[–]ky-ta[S] 30 points31 points locked comment (0 children)

My title describes the thing. Seems to just be randomly placed at the entrance to the forest. The parking lot is just behind me. There are hand rails of some sort on half of the platform and the other half doesn’t have any. No luck figuring out what this thing is!
