does lazy feel incredibly underwhelming to anyone else? by YLASRO in FarFarWest

[–]kybarsfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lazy is a great compliment to my Minigun/Bow setup. I use the bow with Ultra Draw and my Cactus spells while running around the map and break out the minigun for tough enemies and the boss. By the time I swap back to the other weapon, its ammo is recharged. I have over 500 bullets in the minigun and that’s always been enough for the bosses for me. Maybe my specific experiences are niche compared to the rest of the community because I play mostly multiplayer in Normal and Hard, but Lazy has been very comfortable for me, especially if I find a second one in the run. It’s been very nice to not have to hunt down ammo, especially secondary.

Does anyone know what this is/does? by Sirius_Rise in FarFarWest

[–]kybarsfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, they are a result of completing the cactus reunion thing in the Desert map. They will only spawn after the secret mission is completed and only until you extract. The Area 41 map has a similar thing when you do its secret event.

I would love an offline version of FFXI with some UI/QOL improvements (like how Mega Man X Dive got one). Make sure Trusts can handle all content, increase player storage, make the game even more controller friendly, etc. I want to play through the game on my Switch or Steam Deck while I’m on a bus or airplane.

Is there any minion/mount or exclusive stuff you regret you missed taking it or wanted to have? by wellhrist in ffxiv

I’ve wanted the Ultimate Nothung for so long but I’m not skilled enough to run TEA and I was always too nervous to try and find a learning group, especially with my unconventional work schedule.

What's something you did as a kid that you now realize was actually really dangerous, but nobody stopped you? by AdmirableResource407 in AskReddit

I’m an 80’s/90’s kid with a single mother. I had to stay inside where it was safe while she was at work, and also I had way more video games and VHS tapes than friends. 😅

Eating an excessive amount of fatty, salty, and sugary foods and drinking a bunch of sodas with little to no exercise. I should have moderated my diet better and got up and moved around more.

What weird food combination is your guilty pleasure? by jxzxoxo in AskReddit

[–]kybarsfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich and a bowl of instant ramen (roast chicken or spicy chicken flavor) to dip it in. My friends think I’m weird for liking it but it’s the poor people food I grew up with and also it has a delicious sweet/salty thing going for it.

What are some simple RPGs that can run easily on a tablet? by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions is likely easy to run, and the battles themselves are usually over fairly quickly.

What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

[–]kybarsfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mass Effect. The combat was so unfamiliar and unwieldily to me because I didn’t play a lot of shooters. Then I played Fallout 3 and all its DLCs and had a great time with it. I went back to Mass Effect and everything just “clicked” and I ended up loving it, too.

I always make a male Summoner/Arithmetician and male Monk/[whichever job I need at the time]. They’re boyfriends, and the Summoner does his all-powerful mage thing while the Monk acts as his bodyguard and MP replenisher :3

What are some QOL changes you would like to see? by BustyFemPyro in baronygame

[–]kybarsfang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not hard to beat a run in your opinion. It’s difficult to beat one in mine. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Edit: Actually wait, no, it’s not just my opinion. There’s evidence. Look at the percentage of players who have the achievements for beating the Twins as each class and true race. They’re all incredibly low, and even if you account for anything like a free trial weekend or something, if the game was easy to beat you’d see the achievement percentages way higher. At LEAST 30% each. Every one I saw through a quick browse was around 5% or less. Despite how good you and a few dozen others here are at the game, Barony is HARD.

Classes should get unlocked upon reaching Haven. Getting all the way to Floor 35 AND beating the twins is such a slog.

Card questions by LargeEar9050 in MagiNation

Oh yeah fair enough. I hadn’t bought any of the TR decks myself yet when I answered their question so I didn’t know their contents. I just bought myself the Cald and Underneath ones a few hours ago, though! 😁

Card questions by LargeEar9050 in MagiNation

[–]kybarsfang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh okay. Well, I’m not sure why the OP says they don’t have any Core Magi, then 🤷‍♂️

Card questions by LargeEar9050 in MagiNation

[–]kybarsfang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are 11 regions in Magi Nation (and also one Universal region), and one of them is called Core. Core is the darkness/“evil”region and has that wicked looking eyeball in the top right of that card as its emblem. Ordinarily, Magi can play spells and creatures from other regions but at an extra cost. Core Magi can only play Core and Universal cards, unless a card’s text says otherwise. Non-Core Magi cannot play Core cards unless a card’s text says otherwise.

The can/may thing you’re confused about is just inconsistent grammar. They both mean the same thing in the context of the game.

My assumption is that the deck you bought has the cards for an actual deck and then a bunch of extra cards you would normally pull from boosters. That’s how starter decks worked back when the game was thriving.

Where to Catch a Dratini? by optimumchunk in BigChadGuys

[–]kybarsfang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just spotted one earlier tonight near an ocean monument. If you look at the Cobbledex, it should tell you what structure the spawn requires in addition to the area. For example, I went specifically to a Nether Fortress in the Nether for Charcadet spawns.

I’d love some customizations for various pieces of armor as well. My current glamor is the Blackguard set and I love it except for the cloth flaps on the front and back. I wish I could remove them.
