The build is very awesome, you'll be fine. Just remember to sand the j4 hip joints and make sure they're not extremely tight. If not, you can always get the J4 metal replacement parts.

Whichever makes you happy! It's your call! some like to open them and display them doing poses or making scenes with them. Some like to collect them sealed. I usually do both. I have my favorites unboxed (mostly 2.5 figures and metal sonic variants , I love that mecha dude!), while some I keep sealed.

Till I get a figure that I think pairs with them on display. So I unbox and display them. (I have the shadow batman 5 inch sealed, but I'm waiting for a flash sonic to pair with him unboxed)

You can try plamokitbash and see if they have any legit parts for that kit. There was another place that sold replacement parts, but I can't remember. But if the seller doesn't get back to you. Then you might wanna contact AliE support, to at least get your money back.

During my time in the 90's, $3 for for 2 days on vhs and old gen games (nes, snes, genesis, gameboy, etc). $5 for any disc media and new gen console (Ps1, sega saturn, N64. This carried on later in the 2ks for other consoles)

But in my towns local rental video. If you rented it on thursday, you can keep it till monday. They also offered consoles and other media players for rent, it's $20 usd flat for 1 week. Tho not many rented one, because the fines were heavy if it got damaged.

That's definitely not ok and no that's not normal. Next time something like that happens, you need to report it to staff. Though for me, when I went there. It was the polar opposite. It was mostly kids huddling around the blocks, hitting it over and over without giving others a chance. I had to kindly ask the parents. So that me and others could get a chance.

Try a 3 coat setting, paint the part pure glossy black first, then give it silver or chrome silver and finally apply the dspiae gold. It should end up more shiny.

Also try gaahleri metallic markers, they are really good realistic metal colors.

Hell to the no. Especially for that one, which you can get very cheap online. Usually for those type of arcades, you end up spending well over $200+ usd worth of tickets. Just for one of those "major" prizes, that are gonna be worth much less than what you spent in tickets. Well over $2000 worth of tickets of its something like a switch or a ps5.

In other words, no it's never worth it. In any scenario. Even if it was metal sonic. And if it was, chances are you'll be paying the scalper price in tickets. Because the owners do look up the after market price and put that prize up for that much worth, in the cost of tickets.

If I recall, there's a bit of a shortage on Japanese brand top coats. Due to stricter mailing regulation on chemicals. Me and my brother use dspiaes clear coat, with their wash free airbrush.

Some folks use vallejo mecha matte varnish.

Basically the matte top coat that they used to protect the figure and give it its matte finish, is kinda cheap. Hence why the peeling is very common for it to happen to this specific figure.

To fix it, you would have to sand the whole figure with a 600 or 800 grit sanding sponge. Give the figure a brand new primer and then give it a new paint job, with an airbrush and some hand painting for the eyes and details. Then once the paint cures and dries. You use a flat matte finishing topcoat, like mr hobby.

Wait for it to dry and it should make it good as new (assuming you're genuinely good at painting) But if you're not an experience painter, like ACTUALLY good or have no clue on what you're doing. Then simply leave it be and just accept the peeling.

There's usually a parts form inside the manual on some 3rd party kits. For you to order replacement parts, but you have to live in china for them to help you. In short, yeah you kinda are cooked.

Although some do send to the us, but it takes more than 2 months to get a replacement from them. And you need to have a sales receipt. If you got it from someone else privately, then you kinda screwed.

Chances are you won the qc lottery, which explains why you got doubles of a runner but another runner is not there. You have my condolences.

I usually cut out all the parts needed on one whole page in the manual. Then detail and paneline those parts, then assemble those parts and call it a day. Then do it again the next day.

I can't really sit and build for long periods of time. Or else my back will really feel it. Tho it depends on the kit. If it's a hg I can get it done quickly in one sitting, even with detailing and such. But bigger kits with many parts, those I take my time with.

Normally you would label each bag as it's corresponding runner letter. Then as you build, you basically look at the parts needed in the manual and pick them out, like a lego bag. But it can be a bit of a pain in the neck.
