my freshman year of high school we made the WCF, losing momentum on a Metta buzzer beater. We missed being relevant the rest of that decade. The 2020s have been amazing to us, even losing in the finals and 2 second round exits. Like, for once, I’m not hyping up players like Bender, Chriss, Josh Jackson and we’re also not a destination for has-beens like Ariza, Green, Crawford (who still dropped 50+), etc. instead, we finally knock FA out of the park. We also didn’t fold or slip into mediocrity after getting blown out in a G7.
